Hanes Essentials Men's Cotton Shorts With Pockets, 7.5"

While very comfortable, these shorts have awful pockets. They are not sewn to the shorts as they are for many other brands and styles. So when removing my wallet, the entire lining comes out with it. Then it has to be stuffed back in before returning my wallet. Very frustrating in the checkout line. Also, the pockets are not very deep and my phone slides out when sitting down or driving my car.

I thought these shorts would have been a heavier material. They are see through. More like sleep shorts.

The product was very small for the size. Not great quality I would not recomment these shorts

Material a bit on the thin side compared to old version.

These shorts have been part of my daily workouts. They look good and feel great with the cotton fibers helping control sweat. The length is very good and modestly cut for ease of motion, without exposing anything. My older shorts were starting to show some wear, so a perfect time to order 6 pair of these shorts

The material could be softer, but the shorts are well made.

I now have three pair with defects. Two arrived with defects, one developed after some wear. The stitching where the pocket meets the waist band is not has loose threads which unravel. Once it starts, nothing stops. Two pair were delivered this way, and a third started after being washed.

The shorts are okay, but I would have paid a little more for a heavier material. Also, the pockets are so small my standard size cell phone sticks out of the top

Extremely thin material. Can hold up and see right through the material. NOT worth the money.

Good fit, nice length

I bought several of these men's shorts on special. They are soft and feel good. But unfortunately, I find them too revealing of the masculine anatomy when used with boxers or boxer briefs, and I am just a normal male. A slight bulge is one thing, but I just find these too revealing. Perhaps they would be a better fit with briefs. Frankly, this possibility didn't even occur to me, because it is not an issue for me with regular pants or jeans. But it seems that the softer, thinner fabric and lack of a fly conspire to be more revealing than a normal pair of pants. They also tend to collect some lint. It is way too late for me to return them. I bought some shorts from another famous clothing company with thicker material that are much more modest, but they cost over 3x what these cost, so the comparison is not fair. I'm not saying these are bad shorts. It probably depends on how and where you use them. But I just wanted to make other guys aware of this potential issue.

These are favs of hubby. The fit without being too snug and don’t ride up either. After being washed, they look brand new - no ironing needed plus no shrinking. They are soft, flexible fabric also.

Good product but I ordered two colors of same item and the fabric content is different for each color. Black ones are 100% cotton and grey ones are a cotton and polyester blend. Different textures and fit.

I have purchase different colors a few years back. Every color fits different LOL I found the gray is the softest. The black is pretty thick but scratchy. So I purchased four pair a couple of months ago and I love them so much I'm buying four more. LOL now I know why certain people where the same outfit and their closet is full of one color. LOL
