Hanes Men's Thermal Long Sleeve Performance Shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is fantastic. It fits perfectly and it did not shrink at all when I washed and dried it. It has now become the most comfortable shirt that I own. It is soft, does not wrinkle and can be tucked in or untucked, either way it still looks and feels great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits pretty much true to size though the sleeve length might be a tad long. As a base layer fits snug to the body but doesn’t feel tight. The material is quite soft and pretty comfortable to wear. As a base layer it feels just ok for warmth. My only negative with the shirt is that the neck collar in back doesn’t lay completely flat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product at no charge in size 2XL from Hanes and found the fit to be comparable with other clothing items I have and wear in this size. I was surprised by the feel of the fabric. It is very soft and lightweight, when I tried it on it felt great against my skin. It was warm for several days before a thermal shirt was appropriate but I was anxious to try it. I decided to wear it on a day I had to get up early and had to be outside reviewing some jobs, traveling between them, and then spent a few hours in the shop working. I wore it under a long-sleeve uniform shirt, and again the material felt great. It did not catch on my outer shirt as some thermal wear has done. I always take my dog out for exercise first thing in the morning. It was a bit windy as we walked about, throwing her toy for over an hour. I was comfortable in the mid-50s temperature despite the wind. The thermal long-sleeve shirt was comfortable as I went about my day, assessing some outdoor work, then traveling between several locations. When I arrived back at the shop, I did not get overheated doing some maintenance work on two machines, and I could see this being an item I am likely to want a couple more of, especially as winter and colder weather arrive. This seems like a great item to wear under a work shirt or sweatshirt as it definitely wicks any moisture away from my skin, keeping me feeling comfortable as my activity changed and I went from indoors to my vehicle then outside. Its a great base layer, not at all bulky and very comfortable to wear

When using as a layer if wicked well and stayed comfortable. The medium size was a little snug at the middle where i may have a little extra girth.It maintained my body temperature when outermost layers were removed.

I used it as an underlayer for my son's fall LaX tourney in OH, which, in the fall is cold as lichen roots in the morning and hot as the tarmac at the Atlanta airport in the afternoon. This shirt was near perfect. It is as soft as baby duck down, so I could wear it against my skin as an underlayer, with a T-Shirt over the top for his first AM game. After the sun came out in the afternoon, I was able to take my T-Shirt off without sweating like a sugar junkie at a bakery. I also wore this to a HS football game in SW PA under a hoodie. Toasty to near perfection well after the sun went down. I will definitely buy more of these.

When I first opened the package, I thought it was cotton. That's how soft the material is! I've worn it hiking, crabbing and camping in the short time I've owned it. This is now my go-to thermal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It got chilly here in Nc so wore this shirt on a trip to the mountains under my tee shirt and was vey comfy the fit was right on the money and was warm will buy a few more for this winter as I do a lot of my work outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This long sleeve black undershirt is extremely comfortable, and very warm. I live in southern California but took a trip to northern California and forgot my jacket. Temperatures were in the 50's at night and all I had was this undershirt, and thin 100% cotton dress shirts. I didn't need anything else as this shirt kept me very warm. The fit is close to the skin so you can wear it under any shirt no matter how form fitting. I am 6'4" and 195 with a 36" waist and I got a large. It fits snug on the arms and upper body, with a little loose in the waist. If you have big arms, it will fit, but be very snug. I normally shy away from synthetic materials, this is 87% polyester and 13% spandex, but it feels very comfortable. The length is just right for me to tuck the shirt in and have it stay. The only down side that I see in this product is the warmth. For me you need to be able to take it off if you are going inside or doing heavy physical activity in our temperate climate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent one of these shirts for the Hanes Review program and upon receiving it I was immediately delighted by how soft and thick it is. Even after multiple washes it is still soft with no pilling. It is super cozy and warm but breathable, and thick enough to wear by itself (not see through!!!).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the thin fit of this shirt as a layering shirt. The color is good and it’s comfortable. It is a little shorter than I’d like in length and arm length. I will need to be careful with drying it so it doesn’t shrink. It washed well and dries ok when it’s hung up to dry. Overall a good base layer shirt.
