Q: Why does the website say 78% cotton when these have no cotton at all in them? I bought these because you listed 78% cotton. There is no cotton in them. I am returning them. You wasted my time and now yours at customer service.

A: We are sorry for the error the previous fabric content had the cotton blend. The current fabric content is 97% Recycled Polyester, 2% Spandex, 1% Nylon.

A: These fit shoe size 12-14. The length from the toe to the heel is 9 ½ -10”; the length of the leg is 8 5/8”. The total leg layout is 11-11 ½.”

As others have said, Hanes used to mean quality. I stood them for decades. Well, my last bag of socks ALL developed huges holes within 6 MONTHS (!!!), and that was a different design than this one, so I switched to these because they had extra cushioning. The feel nice, and I haven't developed the holes others have noted, but probably bc I can barely wear them bc they are BEYOND TIGHT. I mean they are like compression socks, but without being designed as such, so it becomes very uncomfortable. I mostly have to keep them pushed down, and I'm a thin person. After all these quality issues, I'm switching brands. Permanently.

These socks are terrible. After less than a year of wearing these socks, the ball part of the socks had developed a hole. I've had to throw away half the socks so far. Those that didn't have a hole at the bottom started to get holes by the ankle. Addiotlly the socks shrank about two sizes after one or two washes. Making them uncomfortable. This is a faulty product all around. I hope more people read the reviews. Such a shame Hanes. :(

But they are good at deception. The socks felt thick when I checked them out at the store. Upon getting home, I discovered they are actually quite thin while worn and five have holes in various seams. Returning probably isn't an option since the packaging was destroyed in the process of removing the dozen plastic pieces that held it all together. But don't buy these, or any Hanes.
