I didn't listen to the other reviews, but I should have. I bought these years ago - when they WERE 95% Cotton I I loved them. THESE NEW ONES: 1. they are EXTREMELY THIN 2. the band at top is TIGHT (I'm 5'3" and weigh 125, size M!) 3. they DO have a kind of slimy feeling to them from the man made materials. I'm returning them immediately. Wasted a lot of my time. HANES!!!!! we LOVED these when they were 95% cotton and didn't feel like a piece of junk!!!!!! PLEASE BRING COTTON BACK!!!!! :-) :-) ;-) Everyone hates what you've done here - READ THE REVIEWS.

Spectacular fail! These might be considered mid-thigh on a newborn, but never on anyone older than 2. Wasted money.

Although the picture of the model in the ad shows her boxer briefs actually reach mid thigh, the boxer briefs that I receive do not, so apparently that is only accurate if you are a pencil thin model. I am 5' and only 123 lbs. The waist band fits a little too snug, but not painfully so. The fabric is much thinner then their men's boxer briefs, and the waist band is narrower, so women are being charged more, but getting less. These are comfortable in the seat and crotch area, no seams cutting in to my flesh. I may or may not order again, it depends on if I find a similar product with longer legs. Manufacturers don't seem to understand that when they make the legs equal legth in the frint and back it makes the back of the legs to short when worn by anyone with an average size or bigger bottom because our bottoms take up more fabric. This pulls the legs up higher in the back so that when we walk it also causes the front of the leg to pull up higher causing bunching. Longer legs helps alleviate this problem.

NOT Mid-Thigh

NOT mid-thigh. Too short and legs scrunch up constantly. Uncomfortable in the crotch and legs/hips. The company won’t state the inseam (read the Q&I here) so I measured my XXL: 5 1/8”. Mid-thigh inseams generally are 7” - 9”.

Butt seam a deal breaker
3 out of 5 stars

I REALLY wanted to love these. The cut was good, the fabric was great, the fit was good, and they felt like they would be very comfortable, EXCEPT for the seam running up the middle of the butt! It 100% ruined the comfort. If almost felt like wearing a thong, not quite that bad, but still the constant presence of something between my butt cheeks. Not good. Other brands do not have a seam in that location, but rather a double-seam gusset/inner-thigh area, which you don't feel at all. Again, I really, really wanted to love these, but I refuse to be uncomfortable in underwear when there are similar alternatives (though a little more costly for cotton ones) that you literally don't notice after you put them on.

True to size. I was worried the waist would be too tight but they’re perfectly stretchy. I am a size 14 in jeans, 5’2 175lb and I got the size large, I like that they’re cotton.

I really like how comfy and soft these. They're only 58% cotton, which is a let down. I like a bit more cotton in my undies to keep things sanitary and breathable down there. The other issue is, they fit well, but ride up constantly. They're great lounge undies tho.

I wear these for sleeping and I love them. The ribbed material is really soft and comfy. I originally bought them to wear post abdominal surgery - bought them one size too big - perfect for that, also.

Unfortunately not practical and underwear worn UNDER clothes. Great for lounging - fabric fit etc. But thighs roll up immediately when walking or under any bottoms, the inside seams are huge and uncomfortable- they’ll leave seam impressions in all the wrong places of your skin
