Fun Read!
Always good to visit the characters on Happily, Inc. again. This is a fun light read. I like how the characters come together to help each other. There really wasn’t a lot of conflict in this book, but it was still a great story.

Fantastic Holiday Read
Happily This Christmas, the latest in the Happily Inc series by Susan Mallery, is a fantastic book. As families grow and the dynamics change sometimes the magic of the season tends to get a bit lost. As does communication. This witty tale of two neighbors is sure to give you all the feels this holiday season. Will Wynn forgive herself? Can Garrick and his daughter make peace with the past? This is sure to be a holiday favorite for you.

I’m not a huge Christmas book fan. But I adore Susan Mallery and all of her books so of course I had to read Happily this Christmas! I loved that this book had thanksgiving and Christmas in it without it being solely about the holidays. It is about realizing you can’t punish yourself forever for mistakes you have made in the past. Especially when you have learned from those mistakes and grown. The book is about growth, acceptance, and forgiveness. Wynn made a mistake when she was young and has a teenage son she is raising alone. Garrick has his pregnant, adult daughter who seems to hate him move back in with him so he can take care of her while her husband is deployed. Wynn and Garrick lean on each other to get through the rough spots, talk things through, and help their kids to do the same. As always Susan Mallory is able to help you forget your troubles while talking a vacation to Happily Inc! You won’t be disappointed!

Great story, abrupt ending
Small-town charm prevails in Happily Inc! Wynn is a successful single mother to a teenage boy named Hunter. Her life is fulfilled in every aspect, except the love department. Garrick is her next door neighbor, a police officer, and single. He seeks Wynn’s help to get his house ready for when his pregnant daughter arrives. This book has a little bit of drama, a lotta romance, and is dripping in Christmas traditions. My only qualm about this one is how rushed the ending was. I, perhaps, just wanted to stay in Happily Inc for a little bit longer.

Fun!
Susan Mallery does it again. What a fun, heartwarming, cuddle up with coffee book. I've been waiting forever for Wynn's story. I love love love the Happily Inc series. I have to be honest and say that I was waiting for a bigger story for Wynn. Her rage at Jasper for spending time with Hunter, and they way she is about Hunter made me think that there was going to be a bigger secret in her past. I loved her story, but it wasn't as exciting as I thought it was going to be. No worries though, the story has plenty of moments that will carry you through. Girl friend fun, holidays, family, and lots of tough situations that need patience and love. Read it today!

Another great Happily Inc wedding
I had a really hard time reconciling this Wynn with the self-assured, independent Wynn from Not Quite Over You. When we met Wynn, she was this hard woman, terribly protective of her son, to the point of dumping a man simply because he dared to give her son what he desperately needed and asked for – a male role-model and friend. Now she’s a simpering cliché, who lets the neighbor in without a second thought and gives him full access to her son, including making out with her son in the next room. I kept waiting for the body-snatchers to be revealed. The book was good, as long as I thought of this as a totally new character who happened to have the same name. I did, however, love that SM’s marines were included because that is one of the best FB posts I’ve ever read. And I wish more people would pull together IRL to create special memories for their communities.

Another great read by Susan Mallery
I love reading Susan Mallery's books and was excited to read her latest installment in the Happily Inc. series. This book was a light, easy read. The main characters, Wynn and Garrett, are great parents who have made mistakes along the way just like every other parent. Wynn willingly jumps in to help Garrett when his daughter comes to visit and their relationship takes off from there. I really enjoyed the dynamics of Garrett's relationship with his adult daughter and their trying to move past their mistakes and get to know each other again. I would definitely recommend this book.

A winning book for Wynn
I must admit that the last Happily Inc book I wanted to stand up and fight for Wynn. I wanted her to be happy and she didn’t get it. Now she does. I loved this book. Garret is a great “hero” for the book and Wynn. I love how perfectly flawed he is. So happy I got this book.

The BEST book Susan has Written!!!
I am OBSESSED with this book. I LOVE the Happily Inc series Susan Mallery has published. This one is about Wynn, a single mother who has had a hard time finding love. Her handsome next door neighbor asks her for help in getting things ready in his house for his daughters arrival. Out of all the Happily Inc series, this one is my favorite. In other books, Wynn was briefly portrayed and came across as a strong and hard women. This book really showed the great personality and person that Wynn is. I am happy that Susan has came out with Wynn's love story. You will NOT be disappointed when you read this book. Great job Susan! I hope she continues the Happily Inc series as these are my favorite!

Fun, Perfect Christmas Read
It's been a while since I posted a book review. Not because I haven't been reading, but after reading quite a few books for review, I took a break and read for myself. I did read some great books that I will review in the next few weeks, but I'm starting with a Christmas book. Of course. Since it's officially Fall, there are only twelve weekends between now and Christmas. That's twelve chances to curl up with some hot chocolate, or a latte, or tea, and this endearing book. Susan Mallery takes us back to Happily Inc, the wedding destination town in the California desert. This is Wynn's story. We've met Wynn in the other Happily Inc stories. She runs the graphic design and printing shop and she's a single mom of a young teenage boy. Wynn has kept her heart to herself and refused to consider a long-term relationship. Until the good-looking police officer, Garrick, moves in next door. They wave greetings occasionally and she watches him mow his lawn, but that's it. Until he asks her to help him get his home ready for his adult daughter, Joylyn, to come stay. She's pregnant and her husband is deployed. They've been estranged for several years and he has no idea why or what happened. He's hoping this means they can heal the past and restore the loving relationship they used to have. Of course, it's not that easy. I really enjoyed this one a lot. Of course, we all know I'm a huge Susan Mallery fan. And a huge fan of Christmas stories with Happily Ever After endings. Wynn and Garrick had believable chemistry and they were cognizant that they both had their children living with them, so they didn't tumble into bed at the first spark, disregarding that fact. Joylyn was a pill at first, but she softened and became likable. Some of our previous Happily Inc protagonists had cameos and walk-on parts, so we got to catch up with Renee and Jasper, Bethany and Cade, Carol and Matthias, and the others. This was a fun addition to the Happily Inc library and I highly recommend it! I received a free copy of this book from the publisher, but it did not induce me to review it, either favorably or not.

Cute
So we are back in Happily for Wynn and Garrick's story. I don't remember if Garrick was mentioned in any of the other books, but I will admit I have not been a big fan of Wynn. This story does explain her a bit better, but her "big" secret is not that big. I loved Garrick. Liked how he really kept trying to figure out why his daughter had cut him out of her life. I liked Hunter a lot. I didn't care for Garrick's daughter much, until she finally stopped acting like a prima donna. There are some good one liners that made me laugh out loud. All in all a fun read.
