I tried these eggs and they taste amazing - just Like you think the sunrise would taste. I have had them fried - no need for bread to cut the yolk- they actually have flavor which is smooth and delicate at the same time. It’s the only egg I look for anymore ….

… fed soy… NOT healthy

The website touts that these hens are fed a blend including soy.. not healthy, or natural. They also are very vague and weird about their end-of-production policy for hens. :( These are “green-washed!”

Hi there! We include soy in our hens diet because it is a great source of protein for them! Please reach out to us through email if you have any additional questions.

Most rich vibrant orange yolks ever. I am from the UK and since moving to the states 30 years ago have always complained about how pale American egg yolks were until we started eating Happy Organic and now we eat the Heritage and wow amazing eggs

I am on a Keto diet, so i eat lots of eggs. The 'factory' eggs were..hohum, boring. But the Heritage (easter egg) eggs were fantastic! They are just like the 'homegrown' eggs i remember from when i was a kid

OMG! Took me back to my childhood!

I've been buying eggs from the farmers market because eggs from a grocery store just aren't the same. So, one week I was not able to go and ended up having to buy eggs at the grocery store and truthfully, I was not looking forward to it. Until, I saw this bright blue eggs carton staring at me. So, I grabbed 2 dozen. OMG, THESE EGGS ARE THE BEST! I was instantly transported to my childhood when I would gather eggs every morning for breakfast. The yolks aren't the anemic yellow of store bought eggs, but this bright deep orange of the Sun. They're pricey, but so worth it! The problem now is, I can't find them anywhere near me. The grocery store I bought them from isn't carrying them. I'm so depressed!

These are my go-to favorite eggs to purchase, such a treat for me to have in my house. Not only the beautiful variety of colors that are different in every carton but the beautiful dark amber yolk! I’ve tried A LOT of different egg brands and this one is the best flavor and color of yolk.

Yolks are yellow and not orange like advertised

1 out of 5 stars
Emma - 4 months ago, Verified purchaser
I’ve purchased these eggs at another store and they had orange yolks and were amazing. But the 4 dozen I got at Target had barely ANY orange yolks and was a big disappointment. They were brown and blue shells. Just the insides were yellow. Some even had double yellow yolks inside.

I know it’s hard to spend 7 to almost 8 dollars on eggs, but the color and the taste is amazingly better. I wouldn’t just put them in a cake but if your making eggs for breakfast or a quiche, soufflé or making pasta you won’t regret it.

Happened upon these eggs while searching to try a new brand. The amber yolks are incomparable and boast a wonderful flavor. They are also kid approved! Tasty in all methods of cooking. I do it as a sunny side up. Fantastic product! Double check your carton as some eggs may have damaged in transport.

besides the great tasting yolk of the eggs, they shape up really well when fried on skillet plus they are uniform intake without any breakup. I like free range more natural type rather than those that are not so authentic.

My neighbor used to raise chickens and told me about Happy Egg. I tried them and noticed their quality. I’m not extravagant but like spoiling myself with my food favorites. The nice thing about eggs is they’re always in season. The size, color and taste of Heritage Eggs is the best I’ve found. My advice: Be nice to yourself and enjoy Happy Eggs.

I have been buying happy eggs in the blue carton for a while now. They are my one extravagance on my shopping list. Unfortunately, the last two cartons have not had amber eggs. What happened?

Thanks for reaching out to Happy Egg! I’m sorry to hear about the issue with your eggs. Just due to Mother Nature, we expect some variability in the shade of our yolks, but not as much as you described. Many things can affect yolk color, and just like humans, no two chickens are alike. Each chicken is given space to grow and eat therefore each chicken will process their food differently which creates a variation in the yolk color. Another possible factor to consider is temperature, specifically extreme temperatures. Temperature can impact feed in a variety of ways and can even impact the vegetation the birds graze on. Please reach out to our team by filling out our Contact Us form on our website, and we would love to resolve this for you!
