Q: Where are they from...where is the chicken farm...

submitted by sjmadrone - 1 year ago
  • A: Thanks for your question! Our Happy Egg farms are located primarily in the Ozark woodlands of Arkansas and Missouri. This region has gently rolling wooded hills for the hens, and a mild climate. This allows the hens to go outside year-round, not just in the summer months.

Grew up eating barnyard eggs. Never I thought I would be able buy eggs as good as those in a supermarket but these are as good as I've ever tasted. And those yokes say everything you need to know. Tangerine orange I would say. Delicious.

Happy Egg brand eggs are the best. I don’t know what they feed their chickens but these eggs have the perkiest, golden-yellowest yolks I’ve seen outside of a barnyard, no kidding. Great price, too

Not worth what is being charged for these eggs. I’ve been buying these eggs for about two years because I really liked them. The yolks were a lot bigger than they are now and when I crack the eggs some of them the yolks come out broken. This didn’t happen until recently. The yolks are not the bright color they were and they are much smaller as well. I will not be buying these eggs again. Not worth it.

It tastes good. One minor thing is the size of eggs is not consistent as competitors'. Some are smaller than others.
1 reply from Happy Egg Team team - 7 months ago
We're so glad you love our eggs! Eggs are actually categorized by their weight and not visual size so it's possible as well, the eggs meet the USDA’s weight requirement and even look small!

My favorite eggs

Laso5959 - 8 months ago, Verified purchaser
These are my favorite eggs no matter the store I go to. The yolks are always a deep orange color, the shells are tough. You can tell they truly take care of their chickens. The taste is rich and eggs (some cheap, generic white eggs taste like water to me). Any version of their eggs are good, doesn’t have to be organic, it’s just a plus. I do try to buy them on sale though since they can get pricey

Hubby and I stumbled over these eggs at a local store and now we're hooked! Neither of us have ever been huge on scrambled eggs but after following Gordon Ramsey's recipe for making them and buying these very high quality eggs, we are both scrambled egg fanatics now. We make huge batches of them to meal prep every Sunday. I never would've imagined I could become an egg snob but here we are! I would love a cheaper alternative but even other cage free options pale in comparison to these beauties!

One of the new ethical egg companies you can find in supermarkets! I always ONLY buy from either Vital or Happy Egg. I refuse to buy eggs from companies that don't treat their chickens well. I don't want to be vegan but I don't want to support horrors either, so my money will only go to them. Also I love that their eggs are blue and orange sometimes 😭 so cute!
