Poor everything
First off, it would be nice to know the dresser will be delivered in two separate boxes on separate dates. Second. the instructions were not only the single worst set of instructions I have ever read, but some of the holes on the actual pieces didn’t match what the instructions indicated. The edge of the top piece of the dresser was damaged. Some of the screw locations were very awkward to put in to the point most of them ended up stripped by the end of it. Yes the dresser was cute but at the cost of our literal blood, sweat, tears, and sanity, it is not worth it. We will never be ordering furniture from target if it means their other products are as bad as this one.

Save your money.
After only owning it for close to 6 months, the entire thing fell apart when I moved. The particle board isn’t able to hold one screw and it’s useless now. DEFINITELY not worth the couple hundred dollars. Save yourself the grief.

Difficult Assembly
Even as someone who has assembled many pieces of flat-pack furniture, this was an extremely difficult assembly with poorly written instructions. The part piece labels seemed non existent but eventually found what could only be described as smeared red blotches vaguely resembling a letter. It took 2 people 5 hours to assemble. The top of the dresser was damaged (see pic), and although the 4 lower drawers are purportedly the same, we had to try them in each slot as the didn't fit squarely in all. It does look nice after assembly.

this thing is pretty much a pc of particle board garbage. it will do the job in the short term and it looks good enough. I spent more to have it assembled then the dresser itself. my husband would've divorced me if he had to assemble it. thing came in a 1000 pieces. Invest in something it better quality and don't be a fool like myself.

Cute dresser. Very frustrating
Two stars because I loved the look of this dresser and the wood grain looked good in person. However it was near impossible to assemble. If you’re a directions person don’t waste your time with this. If you’re a handyman you may be able to use common sense and figure it out. Simply put, the instructions do not match the product assembly. Ours also arrived damaged. Overall just disappointing.

Sour patch dresser
As other reviewers mentioned, this dresser is definitely difficult to assemble and lacks good directions. You have to guess where to screw on the tracks for the drawers, which had to be adjusted a few times. The quality is also sub par. We were moving the dresser to its final spot 2 feet away and a leg fell off due to the hole the legs attach to being stripped (not sure how since we just had put them on, nothing a little wood glue can’t fix). However, the final product is amazing.

Dissapointed
When we got it we didn’t have all the parts and it took two weeks to get us the parts. We’ve had it for a year and only moved it to a different room and two of the legs broke off. I’m pregnant, hormonal, and sad that my expensive dresser is a piece of work.

DO NOT BUY. The worst purchase I've ever made. The instructions are maddening and the quality of the actual furniture is nonexistent. It basically crumbles. I'm shocked this thing is actually for sale. After investing 6 excruciating hours into trying to piece this rubbish together I find that the next piece of wood I need is too damaged to use- not to mention countless missing pieces of hardware. I will be hauling this junk to Target for a refund. Sheesh.

Bad Smell
This is a nice sturdy dresser but the smell will not go away. I have left the window open for three days straight and it still hasn’t gone away. It’s too much to have my hub unassemble to return. He spent three days after work for about an hour or two assembling. Then I notice a sticker with Prop 65 warning about exposure to chemicals/cancer. It’s overall a nice sturdy piece for price but would not recommend because of the smell and the warning. The white part also scratches off easily. I thought the black spots were dirt and tried to wipe off with damp towel but noticed I was taking of more paint!

Not that hard to put together!
Anyone saying this is impossible to put together- slow down, use common sense and really look at the directions. I put it together myself in about 3 hours. It’s beautiful. But then when we went to move it into my children’s room, we moved it slightly the wrong way and a leg ripped off. It’s completely particleboard. So just be careful and know this won’t last. It’s cute though!

Do not buy unless you’re prepared to assemble for days straight. The assembly of this dresser is nearly impossible. The directions are useless and the pieces are not numbered or cut correctly so you just have to guess what piece fits where. My roommate and I ended up having to redrill holes because they were not drilled in the correct places originally

Baxton Studios makes inferior products
I have this dresser and a bed frame from this manufacturer. Both started falling apart in less than a year. Both were an absolute headache to assemble. They look nice but don't last very well. You're not going to save any money because you'll have to replace this garbage in 18 months.

I love the look of this dresser! However, it is not extremely sturdy and the instructions that came with for assembly were a joke. We skipped the first couple of steps and were able to muddle through, but if you have a little more to spend it would probably be worth it!
