These mini things are great!
If you're a HP fan (or book fan), you would be use to the size of these products. They all come in "mini" form, and with a mini book. If you did not know this ahead of time you might be disappointed. However, having purchased many of them at local bookstores, I already knew this. It's the same as the wands, time turner, hogwarts castle, newt's suitcase, etc. Cute if you like mini things to display, not bad quality. I don't really care about the books so much (they are just OK, better for young children).

As other reviewers have mentioned, this item is extremely small (fits in your palm). I was disappointed when I arrived but my 9 year old son loves it! The monster book is cute, makes noise, chomps and chases. The little book that accompanies it is also a miniature book. Had I realized the size I wouldn’t have purchased it.

Very small. Like other other reviewer, I did not realize this was a mini book. It literally fits into the palm of your hand. And the "monster book" is really more like a toy - an annoying one at that.

I will be returning this item. It is extremely small. Smaller than 4x4. I was under the impression that it was possibly the size of a regular book. It put me in the mind of a toy that goes in big kids meal. Even the tiny pocket book of monsters wasn’t what I was expecting. Pretty basic and short.
