I was very disappointed with the quality of these avocados. Upon opening them, the majority were overripe, with dark brown spots, stringy flesh, and very little edible fruit. Several were already spoiled, leaving almost nothing usable.I expected fresh and ready-to-eat avocados, but unfortunately these were not acceptable.

Target has carried the Good & Gather brand for a while and the quality has been good and consistent. However, lately they have carried a brand called “The Golden State of Avocados” which I am completely disappointed with. I actually have bought a few batches on different times. Each time all the avocados are either brown, fibrous or inedible. I buy avocados every week and this brand has been the worse. If you are planning to buy avocados from Target, avoid this brand. You had better go for the loose ones that are not bagged.
