This Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers meal has a pretty good sweet and sour flavor. The chicken isn't rubbery or disgusting. There is a decent amount of rice. Overall, I would purchase again. I enjoyed this meal.

Guess I was in a mood for orange chicken, so I bought Healthy Choice Frozen Cafe Steamers Sweet & Sour Chicken. I did notice 68 carbs, but thought I could make it 2 meals. Wrong. There were 6 to 7 pieces of chicken (I maybe overestimating the chicken chunks) and 2 to 3 pieces of pineapple (I may be underestimating the fruit pieces). Lots of rice and sauce, which are simple carbs. Ate the chicken chunks and fruit and yes some onion bits. Left the rest. Not a full meal at all. I do not recommend. And next time orange chicken urge hits I'll just go to a restaurant, and get more chicken chunks at least.

It's a decent product, but 22 grams of sugar, much too much. This is chicken, disappointing you feel the need to add so much sugar. I can eat chicken w/o sugar. The ingredients otherwise are quality & flavorful on their own, the sugar overpowers everything. I guess since it's a Chinese variety it's supposed to be ultra sweet. I'll pass on this one, I want to keep my pancreas for a while.

The food was ok. The chicken was the only good part but it was decent at best. I had to spit the vegetables out as it tasted like literal cardboard. Sauce and rice were ok but were mushy and watery. Wouldn’t recommend

I got one piece of pineapple, one thin slice of pasty water chestnut and a couple micro thin slices of red pepper. Chicken was VERY tough! What little rice and sauce did have good flavor.

I found a little black hair in the food. It was discovered mixed in the food, stuck to a vegetable, after I microwaved it. The box, packaging and seal were not damaged or broken. I do not have short black hair, and no one that does was around, and did not handle the food or box.

I have eaten the sweet and sour chicken for years. For lunch at work and dinners when there is just me. 8 of 10 times it has been sweet and sour. I loved it. First you cut out water chestnuts, then down on the chicken, then you must have startedusing a thickening ingredient which left me with 1/3 of my food with no sauce, and tonight it was so sour I couldn't eat it. It tasted like all vinegar with very little chicken. That is the last straw!!! Never again.

This meal was one of the worst I have ever had. I will not be purchasing this brand again. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was neither sweet or sour. The juices were in the bottom of the microwave container it came in. This is not tested for taste or for the advertised product. Please choose another choice. Never again on this line of product, poorly fixed, poorly processed and no reason for the customer to try this again.

Status post cancer of base of tongue. Can no longer eat spicy things without it burning or rice because it still enlarges and clogs my throat but these!!!! They’re wonderful. Enough sauce on the rice that it doesn’t expand and the chicken is not tough and the whole thing has a wonderful flavor. Gave the pineapple one to my son when he cam home from college and he loved. That will save me money.

I had the sweet and sour chicken tonight and I was very disappointed. There wasn't one pineapple chunk in it. The chicken and rice was good, but it didn't have any pineapple at all. That is what I like the best so I'm not sure I will buy this brand again.
