[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first Hat I ordered was defective. It had a large twist in the yarn that prevented the hat from sitting smoothly on my head. I contacted Heat Holders customer care and was immediately shipped a replacement which was perfect. The weather has been cold, and the Heat Holders hat has been comfortable and is excellent at holding in the heat - as the name implies

It works fine. The only thing that would improve it would be a style that would let you cover your ears but not tend to creep down over the eyes.

I have worn this hat while ringing a bell at a Salvation Army red kettle when the wind chill was -double digits and my head and ears remained warm during the two hour stint. Totally satisfied with it.

Seriously, outdoor temperatures below freezing are nothing for these hats to overcome. They are warm and cozy and amazing. I tried one and immediately ordered eight more for family members who all have hats, but they can put them aside. These hats are the only ones they will ever wear.

We bought the hat and some socks. Neither were as good as advertised- just average for keeping my husband warm. Both are soft, though.

I have Heat Holders socks that I love and bought one of these king size hats for my dad for his birthday (he started grinning as soon as he opened it and is delighted to have such a soft, warm hat that fits his big bald head properly) and another for my boyfriend, who is from a hot climate and does not tolerate the Midwestern cold well. He says it's like summer inside! I also got my boyfriend the men's neck warmer (he highly recommends) and the L/XL contrast trim gloves, which fit his big hands perfectly and are warmer than other gloves he's tried. Now I'm tempted to get more Heat Holders for myself!
