These are definitely not as tough as the name brand, but they do seem to be lasting a while. They are down and work nicely for scrubbing sinks, stoves, bath tubs. Not the best for tough jobs like tough to clean pots/pans.

not heavy duty
A heavy duty scouring pad should be able to clean the copper bottom of a pan, or the inside of a stainless steel sauce pot. These pads are useless for that. They would hardly clean the inside of a non-stick pan. I use them for that, and had to buy some real heavy-duty scouring pads somewhere else, as I cannot tell what is really heavy duty and what is not. Won't buy them again, that's for sure.
