I recieved this product from Heinz in exchange for my honest opinion. This is the best pre-made gravy in a jar. Not too thick and not thin.. I would not say it elevated my dish since I usually make my own homemade gravies, but it is sure convenient in a pinch when you are in a hurry or just want to make a quick pot and let the slow-cooker do the work. Everyone thought the Slow-cooked Sesame Beef and Broccoli was delicious. I do recommend it and would purchase again.

This gravy is great! It’s nice and thick and has a great umami sort of flavor to it. I love it over mashed potatoes but I have also used it plenty of times over chicken and beef as well.

I tried this gravy about 30 years ago and it is a staple when I make pot roast. I use chuck roast or rump roast and combine onions, carrots and potatoes in a slow cooking pot. When finished, we drizzle Heinz gravy on everything. In the 30 years I haven’t noticed any recipe changes. The flavor is excellent and makes this a great alternative to homemade.

Sometimes it’s the little things that count..Life, it’s hectic we can all agree, like when you come home and find your better half with your best pal Mitch Kramer. Or your son Alvin who no longer loves you and has changed his name to Beth, tells you you were a failure as a father. Or today, when I was told I have a fungus that doesn’t even have a technical name yet , and I’ll have to wait on that biopsy for 5 more weeks..ITS THE LITTLE THINGS LIKE HEINZ BEEF GRAVIES THAT MAKE LIFE WORTH LIVING . 4 out of 4 !
