The flavor of the milk tea is good but not as good as JWAY. The instructions state to heat the tapioca balls for 15 seconds, which is not long enough and many balls were still hard. Also the straw doesn't have the angle cut on one side so it's harder to suck up the balls. JWAY has the tradital straws with an angle cut so it's so much easier to drink the tea and get the balls. This one tou have to put the straw directly over the balls to get them, which is a negative. Overall it's good but I prefer JWAY even though JWAY costs more.

Shockingly so good for at home boba! I did 5oz of hot water and used ice to cool and water down and it made a normal amount that wasn’t too sweet. It tastes great with just 5oz too though! The actually boba was sweeten which I liked. Only complaint is the paper straws but for the price, I’m fine with it

I can’t lie… for boxed at-home boba, this is great. Boba warmed up perfectly- had one slightly chewy one but that’s better than my luck at brick & mortar boba shops sometimes! Milk tea dissolved quickly and did not taste like I added a mix to hot water. Actually drank it hot I was so surprised by the taste. Serving size is 5oz of liquid as a heads up but it’s easy enough to make two servings at a time if you’re looking for a larger drink.

The kit from five below works out better in my opinion (it's 3 packets for 5 dollars , can't remember the brand) . Not only is the taste lacking flavor but it comes with a paper straw!

These go good with a Starbucks drink.

Microwave milk on high for 2 minutes. Should be very hot. I used Lactaid 1% milk. Do not add water. Just milk. Make sure milk is very hot but not scolding or boiling hot. I added the boba straight from the packet into the hot milk. I found that the milk hydrated the boba nicely and cooked it perfectly. I added 30 more seconds to the milk tea. The milk's temperature dropped back down from adding the boba. No need to cook the boba separate when the temperature of the milk cooks it. The hot milk will cook it perfectly in about two minutes. Gently stirring can help the boba expand. Make sure the milk is really hot though or the boba won't cook properly.. I thought the boba turned out chewy and had expanded to their full size! I got perfect boba every single time! I also thought maybe the flavor I chose had a lot to do with the taste! ... I bought the Brown Sugar Latte flavor. OMG!!! SOOO..soo.. GOOD! I enjoyed this drink very much! 🤤🤤🤤Tastes amazing!! Sweet but in all the right ways. I like mine really hot, so I sipped with a spoon! Drink while hot but use the straw when cooled. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I drank all 4 packets since Christmas. Definitely considered a treat. Delicious every time! Would BUY AGAIN. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Poor quality. Boba balls stick together, paper straws included fall apart instantly.

Very sweet when follow directions - I like it hot, so I don't add ice, but I use one cup of boiling water. Yum!

Nothing really hello kitty about it inside though. You’ll want to double the packets for a normal size boba drink. Tasted fine.

This tastes horrible! I bought it for my son for Xmas based on the great reviews but we did not like it. Super sweet and artificial tasting. Made me feel so sick after tasting it. It was easy to make but we won’t be making it ever again.

The drink is so tasty, and sweet, and the boba pearls were sweet and had a good texture. I will definitely keep buying this kit, and would recommend.

I bought 2 kits for Christmas to be stocking stuffers. Kids reviewed the kits, based on their extensive exposure to boba & varieties of. 1- The actual boba tapioca is disgusting. My kids threw it away after trying one packet. 2- The milk tea mix is nothing special- typical mix like we’d get in our local Asian grocery store. Kids said they prefer to make their own. Overall - nothing special. If Hello Kitty was not on the kit as a promoter, it would not sell.

I liked the taste and convenience, however, I warmed the Boba Pearls for 15 seconds, as stated on the instructions, and they were not soft. I added some frozen passion fruit and Dragon Fruit for added taste.
