I ordered 3 pairs of medium shorts in different colors. 2 of the 3 have a very tight band that sits at the top of the belly. The 3rd (light grey) does not and fits perfectly. I don't know why all 3 don't have the same design but you may want to size up if you are later in your pregnancy. I'm going to see if someone can cut that tight elastic band out.
