We've had these for a year, and while I typically love this brand, this knife set has been a nightmare. They work well; however, they do not last. We are on our third knife that has cracked, and it seems to be an ongoing issue.
Used to be good, now not worth the money

Bought this knife block set as a Christmas present for my mother to replace her older set from Henckels that had issues with broken knife handles and rust spots. Appears despite the price tag, this set isn’t made any better as the knife sharpening tool was broken straight out of the box. They will not replace it for her she and it is not covered under warranty apparently.

Our previous knife set (cheap farberware) had a block the stood taller and thus took up less counter space. Overall, nice set that could use a few refinements/improvements.
