Missing a parer and the faceplate on the block fell off in transit. Garbage quality.

Bad quality.

I liked the idea of a built in knife sharpener. But I am very disappointed that after over a weeks usage mostly all the knifes have rust spots. I should have read the reviews first before buying them. Sadly I have to make a trip back to exchange them for something else.

I like the sharpener in the block the best, looks good too.

Happy Mother's Day to me!!! My husband just bought this set i have been looking at for awhile. I have been wanting a Henckel set after buying a small set that has lasted me for over 10 years without losing its sharpness and getting chips. Happy to own this set now.

I just bought these on April 3, I did see the comments that they rust, I still wanted to try them. Sure enough they have rust. I cannot believe how fast that was and I hand washed them all,

Right out of the box, the knives feel well-made and comfortable in hand, with a nice weight that makes cutting feel controlled and precise. The blades are sharp and handle everything from slicing vegetables to cutting meat with ease.

The knives rusted within 3 weeks from purchase. Quality is a disgrace.

Knives are great for everyday use,shears are pretty poor.

Great knife set. We had this brand previously but wanted to upgrade and this is a much higher quality. My husband and I both love to cook and these knives are well worth the investment.

I really wish I could leave less than a star. Gifted these to my mom for Christmas and they ALL rusted within a week! Very dangerous and very disappointing.

I got this set in my local Target store, and upon opening it there were some signs that it was previously used. The way it was packaged seemed like it wasn’t new. Then, I noticed some scratches on the block and what appears to be some rust on one of the blades. Even though they’re minor issues, it’s pretty expensive, so it’s frustrating spending that much money and getting something used. It would be nice if Target could discount the previously used and returned merchandise instead of charging full price.

I’m very disappointed with the quality. I have a set of JA Henckel knives received as a wedding gift 24 years ago which have absolutely no signs of rust till today and I just unpacked my new set only to see rust spots on two of the knives. Also, a handle of one of the knives looks discolored, and the block is not quite finished where two pieces of wood are joined together. I did a lot of research before buying this set and based on all great reviews, I expected it to be a quality item. I don’t understand how I got rusty knives right out of the box.

Every time you take out the knives they sharpen, which is so nice!
