I was looking for a clean ingredient shampoo and came across this... after using it a second time, a big chunk of my hair fell out! I know that shedding is normal but not this amount all at once. This has never happened to me with any shampoo I have used before. herbal essences, this is not normal!

Bought this shampoo due to seeing it suggested by someone I follow on Instagram (and the EWG verification). It is the best shampoo I’ve ever used. My hair is so clean and still smells great 3 days later. I have tried multiple “clean” (and more expensive) shampoos and they left a horrible residue and my hair would be weighted down and would get oily/smelly much faster. My hair feels soft and luxurious with this shampoo. I like using smaller brands that have high quality ingredients/standards but it would be hard to justify a switch, which would be pricier, after using this.

I wanted to love this product but it doesn't properly cleanse the scalp. My hair got oilier faster and it also leaves an odd residue behind, leading to buildup. The only positive I can think of is that makes my hair smell great after use. I think herbal essences shampoos with sulfates are a better choice. At least for people with my hair type (medium/fine - straight hair).

The peppermint oil in this shampoo is not clearly marketed or else I would not have purchased this because I have a sensitivity to mint. Now I have a shampoo that burns my skin instead of nourishing my scalp.
