Herbal Essences Jojoba Oil & Lavender Curls Shampoo, 13.5 fl oz

The only shampoo we use in my 3 teenager house: stops dandruff, ends breakouts on their faces, shoulders and backs. It cleans so well, smells so good, and doesn’t dry hair out. It’s fantastic oil control.

Personally I love Herbal Essences as a brand but this shampoo has made me start to change my mind. I love the coconut oil and rose shampoos and decided to try this shampoo for my waves but also because of my love for lavender and didnt expect for my hair to get so dry out even during the dry process. I am sitting here right now with my hair itching like I have lice which I don't because even half way drying my hair my scalp is not ok and reacting to the shampoo and this is really dissapointing because I have got the larger bottle and might be throwing it away since having thick hair you need to have a good scalp or your hair will fall out which has started happening also.

This shampoo doesn't have even the slightest hint of lavender in the fragrance. As a shampoo, it's fine. However, the reference to lavender in the name is deceptive. You won't smell ANY lavender.

Although the shampoo performs well as shampoo, it smells NOTHING like lavender. As a lavender lover, I was very disappointed. For shampoo in general, it was fine.

According to the shampoo bottle it is an infused blend of jojoba oil, lavender and aloe vera. It also states it has 0% mineral oil and silicone. The bottle is clear with a dark cap. The cap was very easy to open. The product is clear. The shampoo has a very strong fragrance. To me it smells alot like mens cologne. I do not care for the fragrance. And the fragrance lasted a long time in my hair with use. The product is thick and easily lathers up. The shampoo made my hair feel clean and easily washed out. Overall a good working shampoo. And I love that it is a cruelty free product.

It suds really well, and seems to clean my hair and scalp without any problems. I felt that it got any product residue, or dirt off scalp. It made hair feel nice and clean, and my scalp felt really clean as well. It seemed to work really well on my hair and my curly headed daughters hair as well.

The first day I used Herbal Essence Jojoba Oil & Lavender Curls Shampoo it make my hair a bit frizzy, but after a few days the shampoo and conditional elongated my curls and made my hair soft and frizz free. I have been using the product for a few weeks and I really like how my curls look and the fresh and clean smell of the product. I would recommend this product for anyone with naturally curly hair.
