Its woofer features a polypropylene cone with UV inhibitors, co-molded Santoprene surround, and a long-throw 25mm (1") voice coil optimized for infinite baffle applications. A 1.4" neodymium magnet tweeter with a PEI dome, integrated faceplate, and acoustic lens delivers smooth, detailed highs with excellent off-axis dispersion. The sport-style grille is sound-transparent for efficient high-frequency transfer and can be painted to match your vessel. For reliability, the HMX 7.7 S-LD-SW includes an aramid fiber spider with silicone-insulated lead wires, a sealed built-in crossover, and a resettable solid-state tweeter protection circuit. Gold-plated corrosion-resistant terminals maintain strong signal transfer in marine conditions.
