submitted byMegan - 5 years agoTarget staff supportA: The back cushion is a loose pillow. The bottom seat cushion is attached to the wooden frame from underneath with 8 screws. I can feel a thin wooden piece inside the cushion where it meets the frame.

A: You assemble and it comes with an Allen wrench. Suggests a mallet, but only to tap in 4 wooden screw covers. I popped mine in by hand, will make removal easier to tighten screws occasionally.

Knot in Arm Piece
I'm so disappointed. This chair took a very long time to receive. Once assembled we noticed a small knot in the arm. I didn't think much of it until the arm snapped at that EXACT point when the arm was leaned on. Hoping to get it exchanged. Quality control should have caught that since it compromised integrity of the arm support.

This chair is incredibly comfortable, easy to put together, and of surprisingly great quality. The only thing I was surprised about is that the bottom cushion is actually attached to the wood, so there is no way to take it off and clean it. The back cushion however, has a zipper so you could take it off to launder if needed.

Great chairs
We love these, we got 2 green on sale, we then ordered 2 more and set it up in our small living area with a round coffee table. So comfortable. Don't need a sofa now. There roomy enough to curl up on and we bought two foot stools incase we wanted to rest our feet. Great deal. Only thing I did not like was the wood plugs instead of the joint holes not showing like on more expensive furniture they have wood plugs to cover up the joint holes that are clearly visible.

Got the grey - and the wood looks like a natural white oak. Have it next to table (reg 30" height) and it's a bit short - not quite the listed height to seat, but comfy for hanging. Got this new style chair so my cats won't scratch it - or possibly I can 'just' create new pillows if they do - haha. And, it's an adult size chair - not small dimensions like some online furniture :)

Green velvet
The chair is beautiful. I love the green velvet color and the wood details. The wood is a medium brown. It's not the most comfortable chair for sitting long periods but it's a beauty. The first chair I ordered arrived with the wood fre damaged. The second one had a giant scratch on the seat. My husband was able to swap the seats out to make one good chair and we returned the damage chair. So, look for damage when chair arrives.

Nice looking but not comfortable!
Target is not a place I'd normally shop for furniture so I knew I was rolling the dice with this purchase. The chair arrived on time, undamaged, and assembly was easy. I think the color was accurate to what I saw online and looks nice in the space we plan to use it. This chair is for our guest bedroom so it won't get a lot of use which is good because the quality seems mediocre and it is not a comfortable chair to sit in for more than a few minutes. The velvet is nice but the bottom chair cushion is very firm, and the back cushion is a bit softer. It works in the space planned but is not as comfortable as I hoped and the quality is on par with the price.
