Sufficient for my needs, but could function better
Sufficient for my needs to use as a carry-on or for a quick weekend trip. The single-bar, extendable handle could be better because the bag can become unbalanced when wheeling across the ground. A U-shaped extendable handle like the one used in previous versions of the backpack lessened the chance of the bag becoming unbalanced when being wheeled.

Do not recommend at all.
I bought this on Sept 12th for my son . He used it for 3 days and already the side pocket and the bottom of the backpack is torn. I am majorly disappointed at the quality of the product.

Great carry-on! Highly recommended!
I have had this bag about a year. It has been great for travels by car and air. Paired with a waist pack I was able to travel in India for 3 weeks. It fit in the overhead bins on even the small commuter planes. Highly recommended. If something is missing it would be compression straps.

Looks and feels sturdy!
I bought it for my middle schooler because their school does not have lockers and he carries around a ton of heavy books. Overall it looks sturdy and it can all hold all of his books including a 2" binder. The only thing I wish it has is a 3 wheel so that he can easily pull it up on stairs. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is becaused he's used it for 1 day only but so far so good. Hopefully it will last him for at least a year.

I really like this product since it comes In such a nice style and it's bigger than I thought it would be, like it can carry all 3 Big binders, 2 Books, 1 Notebook, 1 pencile case and it's very lightweight when it's empty, I am so glad that I got this for my daughts Late Christmas gift, like I totally recommend this for like middle school parents to buy for their kids since it's super flexible, to drag around, and the handel has diffrent lengths so they don't have to reach their arm to far, and it carries alot and is one of the most affordable/good quality Wheeled backpack I've seen on the internet when shopping for Christmas gifts.

I have been waiting for this bag
Exactly what I've been looking for to replace the one that died. Carried that one all over the world and cried when it finally died after 20 years. Don't really use the backpack part, although the straps are handy to buckle it to another suitcase. Capacity is much better than those "under seat" suitcases that hold next to nothing and that you can't get into without laying it down to get something inside. I've travelled a whole week with just this one bag, and I bring a LOT of stuff. Thank you, thank you for making this bag. I have been seriously ooking for a replacement bag for over a year, and it was an article in Wall Street Journal that said this was one of the four best bags.

My grandson needed backpack for middle school. He requested one on wheels for the books are heavy. This backpack had a large compartment to insert a bulky binder with ease, to his relief, and his jacket.

Had it for a week- Very roomy. Bag is light and easy to maneuver. Bought for our middle schooler and nicely packs away all of her books without becoming too bulky. And it has a nice and sleek look. Fits our needs very well.

Great bag with a little hiccup
I have ordered backpacks from High Sierra several times. My 11-year-old son requested a wheeled backpack, so the Freewheel Pro seemed like a good option with plenty of space/pockets for books, folders etc. He is happy with the bag so far but the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the plastic covers for the wheels have already popped off after day one of school.

My son just got the backpack so can’t say if it’s good or not. But my thought is aren’t you supposed to have the back to school sale before the school year starts and not after when everyone bought the backpacks already? I just bought the backpack at a higher price a week before and now since school already started, it’s on sale for 40% off. Very off putting. Probably won’t buy again for back to school anymore since marketing is bad.
