Much prefer the “Lit’l Weiners” flavor which is now evidently discontinued…The beef smokies have too much of an overcooked taste and cause heartburn.

I used to but this product quite often I decided today that I will no longer purchase your product. They aren't like the real little sausages that they used to be. They are now little sausages with a highly processed meat or filler with a soft mushy texture when cooked. I have even tried them 3-4 times thinking it was a fluke but no. I have heard the same thing from family and friends who have aways bought your product. I would highly suggest going back to the tried and true recipe or you will lose a LOT of customers as they figure this out like I have. I assume the change was made to save money on your companies part which is SO obvious and disappointing. I no longer associate getting a quality product with Hillshire Brand products. Such a shame since I always had in the past.

I have eaten these for years but this year they don't taste the same and there is a slimy texture in the package. One package was filled with slime and looked like bugs. So i bought another package but there was still a slimy substance.

in the past several months there has been a HUGE change in the texture of the lil smokies. They no longer have a snappy bite and the casing that is being used now is slimy and off-putting.

I have to agree with Stepanie's review from a couple weeks ago. I boiled these up to go with our breakfast, and the casing was falling off when I took them out of the pan. My husband asked what is that weird film on them. My German Shepard enjoyed them.

Sure enough, bought them to make bbq smokies as I always do for Thanksgiving and there is a skin or casing on them that is gelling falling off in the sauce. Absolutely unappetizing. Extremely disappointed and after reading others having the same issue and also bone and gristle, it my unfortunately be time to move on.

These continue to get worse and worse. Over the last decade they have continued to get more bone and gristle. My relatives, friends, and family use to get these often, we've reduced to about once a year someone tries them, and they're absolutely repulsive. The quality of these have dwindle to absolute trash. We've continued to give them a try occasionally, but never again, we're done.

This item is absolutely HORRIBLE! i made a mistake and saw 4.5 stars and assumed the product was decent. However, I bit into one and immediately knew this just tasted like salt. I gave it a 2nd try to see if I could figure out any flavor and immediately bit into a LARGE bone chip. At this point, I checked the 1 star reviews to find out this is not a one-off case. I had cooked 2 full packs as a party appetizer, but ended up throwing everything out. HORRIBLE!!!

I love these little guys especially putting them in my crock pot and letting him simmer in barbecue sauce for a while you can always do right with making these for an appetizer you can also serve them with a meal or breakfas ,breakfast is awesome
