Quality materials but NOT black
This lamp is well made, with quality materials. However, it is definitely not black. It is dark brown, with a slightly charcoal tone. I waited too long after shipping to return, unfortunately. If you are looking for a dark brown light, I recommend this highly. If you want a true black lamp, keep looking.
