Big Bag of Disappointment
These are horrible! We ordered 10 and every single one was full of broken cookies. The grandkids all were disappointed. We ended up throwing them away. Target won’t take back FOOD items. What a waste of $120! If you need broken gingerbread cookies and thin frosting that won’t hold or if you want to offer a big bag of disappointment, look no further!

Damaged upon arrival.
This was shipped to me and over half of the pieces were broken inside. We tried to use the icing as a glue to put them back together but there was just too much damage. You also had to mix the red dye together with the icing which I found annoying Very disappointing.

This was a waste, and I wouldn’t recommend. Wouldn’t stay together, and not enough icing to even try and get it to stay together. Would not repurchase. Very disappointed.

Piece of junk
Planned on doing this for Christmas eve. Received a used box that was already opened and clearly was returned. The gingerbread pieces were missing, icing already used, and the person put instructions for a completely different product. Really disappointed with this as it has been a tradition every year.

Awful quality
Awful product. I’m not sure what target has done with this house but this year is so disappointing. Open the package and the sides of the house are cracked, both of them. Which I tried to ice together however the ICING DOESNT SIT CORRECTLY. So no way the roof is sitting on the broken sides. Minimal amount of candy came with this too. Very upset with this!

A waste of money!!
WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN. Waste of money. The icing SUCKED!! It was nowhere near strong enough or thick enough to hold the pieces together. After using half the bag of icing it still would not stick together. The pieces were so uneven and wonky. Don’t think I would ever purchase again.

False advertising
The picture on the front of the box is completely misleading. For example, it shows 20+ gumdrops on the house - in fact, the kit includes only about 10 gumdrops. The picture shows little holly candies, but the kit did not include ANY holly candies. And there was not as much icing as implied by the picture. Very disappointing.

Great gingerbread house kit. The icing holds up just fine. Just make sure to build it right and it works perfectly. These are our gingerbread houses. Only problem is that sometimes the pieces come broken.

Waste of time
Tried this for the first time with a friend and we were pretty disappointed. The walls aren’t tall enough to hold the roof, the icing doesn’t harden or set so everything collapses unless you have extra items to prop it up. Comes with minimal candy- if you want to decorate it like it looks on the box, you’re going to be disappointed. It comes with maybe half the candy you see on the box.
