About the Author

KENNETH DAVIDS is one of the main architects of the current specialty coffee renaissance and author of three books on the topic: Coffee: A Guide to Buying, Brewing, and Enjoying (now in its 5th revised edition), Espresso: Ultimate Coffee (2nd edition) and Home Coffee Roasting. He teaches writing and history at the California College of Arts and Crafts and writes for a number of coffee industry publications and web sites. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
