There were two things that I and the seller did not realize before the buying and shipping of this item. I did not realize that the non-slip mat would just be some of the cheap foam shelf liner, and then stapled to the bottom of the steps, which I first mistook for additional packaging. The manufacturer did not realize that the shipping containers would get hot, and permanently fuse the foam shelf liner to the styrofoam packaging it was placed directly next to, necessitating me to rip the shelf liner up and pry up the staples on the back. Other than that, it seems like a pretty solid step stool.
