Really disappointed with the design of this trash can. The marketing pictures do an excellent job of mostly concealing the fact that there’s a large piece that sticks of the back to raise the lid. This means that it’s impossible to get this close to a wall whatsoever. Making the placement of the trash can an inevitable eyesore.

Love this trashcan. Looks wonderful, soft close lid is very nice, and it also will stay open if you manually lift it when it is closed.

I love this one it is huge very easy to pull the trash bags out and very easy to put one in. There is a foot pedal that is very easy to use especially if you have your hands full. Also has a classy look to it I will be buying one for my mother once she seen ours she fell in love with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get this product - took it out of the box and it looked beautiful. This trash bin has a cool feature. It has a separate plastic item to put in the bin where you put the trash bag. Since the trash bag was tucked under this plastic piece it stays in place and I don't have to worry about it coming undone and the bag falling. Also It's not sticking out and looking messy. I do have one complaint and it's pretty minor but the foot pedal is pretty big. I feel like I'm running into it as it sticks out quite far which like I said is not that big of a deal. I would still recommend this product just thought it might be something to rethink in the future!

The pedal is easy to push and the trash bin pops open and it does not slam it closes so nice and quiet . I love that when you open it if you push back a bit more it will stay open if your working in the kitchen and you need to prepare food you don’t have to worry about getting food everywhere so convenient . If you are look for a new trash bin I would highly recommend!

Nice for peeling potatoes or throwing out a few things little by little. Stainless steel goes great in my kitchen and is easy to keep clean and shiny with a micro fabric cloth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am mostly satisfied with this trash can. I like the simple, sleek and modern design. It fits perfectly under the counter and doesn’t take too much space. The lid is easy to lift whether pressing the pedal or using your hand. I like that the lid doesn’t close right away and allows you a bit of time to dump the trash in there. The removable plastic bin inside the can is easy to take out. I use 13 gallons trash bags which are a perfect fit. The stainless steel is also very easy to clean, I just wipe it with a microfiber cloth every few days to keep it shiny. The only complain is that when the trash can arrived, it had a few scratches on the lid (probably happened during packaging). They’re not as visible, so I just kept it.

The lid pops up so easily with the pedal and then slowly closes. The 45 liter black stainless steel semi round bin is the perfect addition to any kitchen! Removable inside bin helps lift a heavy garbage if needed. The stainless steel cleans up so nice and I love that the shape of it doesn't take up too much space. Highly recommend this bin!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garbage cans are a necessity and my old one had a design flaw that allowed the foot pedal to break almost instantly. So I was excited to try this one and see how it stacked up. The first thing I notice is how sleek and pretty aesthetically it is. It looks nice and doesn't stick out or look cheap. The foot pedal works great and the lid can stay open if you need it to. It won't shut on you if you open it all the way. This is helpful when I need to push larger items in off of pans or cutting boards. The front of the lid has an indent that acts as a handle if you want to instead of the foot pedal and it's cushioned and smooth. The can itself had the inner liner that grabs the bag and the bag actually stays put. I was a tad concerned that the stainless steel may father finger prints or look bad, but it does not. The can has stayed looking clean and fresh and keeps all of the garbage smell inside. It is easy to remove the bag as well so I don't have to fight the can to tug it out. Overall fantastic can, looks great and functions as it should. It also looks gorgeous in my kitchen instead of junky plastic or open tops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Home Zone stainless steel semi-round 45 liter kitchen trash can with step pedal and removable bin liner. Pros: Packaged really well. Out-of-the-box, the can was in near-perfect condition (please see cons). The can has a clean, contemporary look that will compliment most kitchens. I also love the removable bin liner. It's sturdy and makes bag changing much easier. I have another premium-brand trash can. This is one area where that can falls short, compared to the Home Zone. The soft-close lid and pedal are nice (but please see cons). Cons: The finish was scuffed slightly on the lid. I thought the mark was adhesive, but couldn't remove it. The marring, despite the excellent way in which the can was packaged, was definitely in the finish. Speaking of the lid, while it is a soft-close lid, when the lid closes, it makes a noticeable metallic clank. My other premium-brand trash can with a soft-close lid does not clank on lid close, but this can was $30 less… so, you get what you pay for. The stainless steel body, while it looks premium, is thin - possibly to save on weight, likely to save on cost. I worry about how prone the can lid and body will be to denting. I also worry about the pedal/lift-lid mechanism, which seems less sturdy when compared to my other trash can. Overall: The Home Zone stainless steel semi-round trash can is a semi-premium, budget-friendly can. It's likely best-suited for light use in a home with no kids/large pets, as I worry about how the finish will hold up and denting. While the can has its pros (mainly price point, appearance, and removable bag liner), I'd have to recommend spending slightly more on a sturdier can.
