Unpleasant and stimulating
Very disappointed. I requested information if this item is suitable for people with varicose veins but nobody replied. I bought it anyway only to read in the instructions that it is not recommended for people with poor circulation (varicose veins). Anyway, I tried it for 20 seconds and the massage is very unpleasant and very intense. It is definitely stimulating, not calming. I have tried other Homedics foot massagers and the massage was gentle, soothing and calming for the nerves. This one is the complete opposite. The massage balls rotate fast and the feeling is just weird and unpleasant… at least for me.

Not a good massage
I’ve had one in the past but accidentally left it behind in a move. Got new one but it isn’t a good massage. It more like brushes your feet or tickles than massages. My husband tried it too, and he agreed. Don’t know why it isn’t as good as the one we got a couple years back. Will be returning.

I have happy feet!
Because of a neuromuscular condition in my feet, I must wear shoes all the time. When I was younger, I loved going barefoot so my feet were being exercised all the time. Now that they are stuck in shoes, they were losing their flexibility. After my first 15-minute session with the Homedics Shiatsu Foot Massager (wearing very thick socks) my feet felt the same as when I used to run in the sand on the beach. Yes, it was that good. My shoes even fit better.

Quit working on day 5
Read the reviews it sounded great so I ordered it and received it just a couple of days. I used it and it felt great! I used it a couple of times a day then on 5 I used it turned it off went back later and it would not come on No lights nothing I am returning it. Very disappointed because it did feel good on my aching feet.

My son purchased this product for me 4 years ago.. It's now that I have really started using it... It relieves Neuropathy..A LOT...The skin texture to my feet has changed and has healed the dry patches to them as well.. It's AMAZING what this little machine can do. The circulation to my legs has improved greatly... I'm thinking of buying me a spare one and has introduced this machine to my friends... They love it too... Just Try It for your self and feel better... Good Luck...
