Kids’ measuring guide

Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

Very soft and stretchy for easy dressing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cotton t shirt is very soft material and also stretchy to make it easily slide over my babies head. I like that the buttons are real and can be undone to make that process even easier. The stripes are stylish and cute and i sized up for this shirt but may not have needed to. There’s a little space for him to grow into but the 0-3m would have been perfect for my almost 3 month old I received an incentive to write this review.

Cute polo with collar and buttons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super cute short sleeve polo for babies. My baby looks dressed up with the nice collar and buttons! My baby is three months old and wearing the 3-6 month size. It runs true to size but fits the later end of that 3-6 month range since I would say it looks too large on my baby in the photo. The material is soft and the head opening is large for easy dressing. I received an incentive to write this review.

short sleeve polo for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How adorable is this, Hope and Henry short sleeve polo. The material is so thick and so warm. It is so heavy duty. I really like that. It looks grown-up while still keeping that small kid vibe. I would say it is true to size as a size 3 to 6 month fits our seven month old pretty well. That would be great for casual wear or semi-dressy occasions as well. I received an incentive to write this review.

Soft Polo but Stripes too Bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this polo in 18-24 months for my almost 2 year old son. I had a difficult time Fitting the shirt over my sons head however once it was on it fit nicely. I thought the color of the stripes on this shirt were too bright and overpowering. I would have preferred the lighter gray version instead of the navy. The material felt of good quality. I received an incentive to write this review.
