Uses gellum gum as emulsyfier
I had used this product before I discovered that it had an added emulsifyier gellum gum. ALl of the manufactured emulsifiers have the potential to disrupt gut biome.

Not Pure Heavy Cream
I recently noticed that my coffee was not the usual creamy cup of coffee after adding Horizon Organic Heavy Whipping Cream. It resembled what coffee looks like after adding skim milk. On closer inspection, I discovered that gellan gum is an ingredient. The gellan gum was so thick that it clogged the pour spout. No thanks; I stopped by the grocery store and bought another brand of REAL heavy whipping cream from a local dairy. Their only ingredient is heavy cream. When I poured the Horizon “cream” with gellan gum down the drain, my strainer caught the “thickener”. YUK!

Milk department
Fridge with organic milk was horible and dirty, smell so bad and I'm sure full of bacteria!!! Most organic milk packages were smashed and dirt as well milk spill all over. This was already last time when shopped and it still bad again! Hardly could find package that was clean and not damaged!

Upsets my stomach
Figured out the gellan gum added is causing my stomach to hurt. I can get 100% real cream at farmers market but requires a trip out of town. Why do we need this in this gellan gum product. We could shake it ourselves and how much longer is it increasing shelf life? If a lot then it is not good for our bodies

Why the Additives
I was so excited to have a clean organic hwc and then noticed it wasn't agreeing with me anymore - Gellan Gum. Why bother with organic if you are going to add trash ingredients. Cream is all that should be in this product

Organic, but contains gellan gum
They started adding gellan gum, which is entirely unnecessary. The original ingredients were what people loved about it. This is just a way to use less wholesome ingredients and save money in making it by adding a thickener.

Horizon adds GUM to your Heavy Whipping Cream these days. There is NOTHING good about GUM in your food products. When we were kids we were always told “don’t swallow your GUM” for good reason! This is an additive our bodies don’t know how to process! It’s time to BOYCOT this behavior!

No More Horizon Whipping Cream For Me…
I’ve used Horizon products for many years and always loved its whipping cream’s buttery taste. Yet upon my return home after being out of the country for some time I’ve discovered that Horizon Whipping Cream has joined the others and added a thickener. Now the wonderful taste is gone along with its original texture. Sadly, it’s not even close to the once delicious whipped cream I and my guests loved. Now I’ll be looking elsewhere for my whipping cream. Sad to say, “Goodbye, Horizon…”

Gellan gum
Why oh why can’t we have things that are additive free? Gellan gum is used to disguise a low quality product and make it ‘appear’ to be thick and creamy when it’s the gum. I used to use Horizon products but no longer. Seems they are selling fake cream gummed up. Disgusting that our entire food system is like this, even ‘organics’ What a farce!

A simple question; I would appreciate a direct answer
This is ostensibly an organic product. The heavy cream is listed as organic. The gellan gum that is added to this product DOES NOT state it is organic. Is or is not the gellan gum organic? If it is, why does it not so state on the label? If it is not, this is not a product that is sourced from organic ingredients and Horizon is engaged in deceptive trade practices, at least as far as Texas law is concerned. Waiting for a response. I am assuming it is not organic gum, unless I see an assurance to the contrary here.
