I thought Black Label Center cut meant this was a better than normal cut of bacon. This bacon was like trying to cook up fatty, stringy deli meat. It never would get crispy either.
Reduction in quality was not expected.

I only make bacon once a year now, so we really look forward to it. All three packages of center cut bacon were disappointing. Thin slices, much more fat than meat, ends were not the same as in previous years, and the taste was deminished. Change should be for the better, not for the worse. Thin, fatty and poor tasting, not center cut. We won't have our gathering spoiled again.
