This coffee has a disappointingly bitter and watery taste to it, with a sour aftertaste. I have loved all the other Good and Gather coffee flavors that I’ve tried, particularly the double chocolate. I expected this one to have a rich buttery caramel with rum taste but sadly, it does not. Even on the lowest 8-oz setting for a cup of coffee, it tastes watery even when adding whole milk. I’m choking down the final k-cups until the box is finished and I can go back to a known flavor that I like.

Hot Buttered Rum is terrible. Bitter bland taste. Out of all the holiday flavors this one is the worst. The Double Chocolate, Holiday Nog, Pumpkin Spice and Dark Chocolate Peppermint are so much better.

I enjoyed this coffee last year as it was a medium roast. I got excited when I saw it in the store recently and grabbed it. After brewing I notice the taste wasn’t strong and watered down. When I looked at the box, I noticed it’s now a light roast. Very disappointing. Please make it medium roast again!

I was unable to actually taste the product so I can’t comment on the flavor. I bought a box of 16 pods and attempted to brew 4 of them. The “plastic” covering over the top of the pod is too thick for my Ninja to puncture. My Ninja has 3 piercing spots for the top and NONE of them were able to pierce the plastic so the pod could brew. Ended up with a flooded counter top. I kept trying thinking I just got a bad pod. I gave up and was able to return it for my money back. Sounds like a fabulous flavor. Wish I were able to try it out.

OMG!! This is soooo yummy! Right now my favorite coffee. Nice smooth taste, just the right amount of flavors & coffee. Unfortunately, I can’t find it anymore. Love this one, it’s like a little cup of dessert when mixed with my Oatmeal creamer. Yum!!
