So, for starters… I have pretty fine hair. I’m a mousse girlie, I like volume, I’m a fan of some curls. I’ve tried small barrels, bigger barrels, wands, the works. To be honest, this one was just okay for me. It’s nicely made and I love the matte finish on the handle. I only need the lowest heat setting but it heats up quickly and stays warm through the time it took to curl my hair. I tried the mousse as well, which was super thick and luxurious compared to any other similar products I’ve used. It smelled absolutely amazing and I only needed a tiny bit of the product for my hair. I thought the heat protectant was great which I definitely need. I was able to get a pretty good curl which I brushed out into nice casual waves. I think overall, this is probably better for thick hair girls. It worked nicely, just not my favorite. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try this one!

Thanks to the Stellar Testing Product Panel I was able to try out this curling iron. I use this iron for more of a blow out look. The barrel heats quickly and gets hot enough for my hair to hold it. I like this iron for an every day look. It gives my hair volume and curl depending on how I use it. For shorter hair I’d say it’s more of a volume tool vs. a curling tool but, if you have longer hair I’d imagine this could give you nice loose curls or even a more wavy look rather than tighter curls. Hot tools never disappoint! Love the temperature setting dial and the quality. I’ve had my other hot tool for many years and the durability is top notch. Love this particular one for a quick everyday blow out look.

I liked using the Hot Tools Pro 1 1/4 inch curling iron. I have medium length fine hair and I think the diameter was perfect. The adjustable heat option was a great perk and helped me pick the best temperature for my hair. It stayed hot throughout the duration of use. I liked the material of the curling iron and feel that with repeated use it would maintain its finish. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I love this Hot Tools curling iron. It heated up quickly. The swivel cord worked well so that it wasn’t tangling around as I moved the barrel in different positions. I liked the ability to change the heat settings so that my curls would set but my hair could sustain as little damage as possible. It curled my hair so well that I received multiple compliments throughout the rest of the day! I was able to easily create loose beachy waves in my hair as well as tighter curls. It’s a great addition to my hair tool collection. I received this hair care item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I received the Hot Tools Pro Signature 1 ¼" Gold Curling Iron from Stellar Product Testing Panel for free in exchange for my honest review. I've been using it for a couple of days and I've had good experience with it. I like the design of this curling iron. It looks sleek and luxurious with the golden color. It seems very well made and sturdy. The handle is small enough for my hands to hold and style for a longer styling sessions. It's very comfortable to use with the soft-touch grip. Also, the curling iron heats up very quickly. It takes about 20-30 seconds to reach the temperature I want. It has multiple heat setting that allows me to adjust the temperature based on my hair type and the style I’m going for. What I love most is it maintains the steady temperature when I'm styling and my curl can hold up for more than half day.

Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel, I received this Hot Tools 1 1/4" Gold Curling Iron in exchange for my honest review. I am a busy mom and usually don't have a lot of time to do my hair, it's usually sweep it up into a bun or ponytail and be on my way, but occasionally I'll have a work meeting or a date night and want to do myself up a bit and that is where the curling iron comes in. My husband and I had a date night for his birthday, which was the prime opportunity to test the iron. First off, I love the size of the barrel, it's large and extended, and feels like I can take a bigger section of hair to get around it. I had tested it at a lower heat level, and while it heated up fast, I found I had to turn it up to the higher end of the recommended range for my hair type to get a curl that held. I love the look of this curling iron. The gold is gorgeous and the size and handle are awesome! The iron stayed hot while curling and did a great job! I love the swivel cord, I never felt like I was battling the plug or iron to move around my head to use it. The fast heat-up was great! The end result was exactly what I was going for and this will be my new go to curling iron from now on!

I love this curling iron. It's different than other brands i have used. I love it has a heat setting for different types of hair. Granted you dont necessarily have to follow it i did though. I love that the cord attached to the curler moved and gives you a more freedom with movement to curl your hair. I feel the cord doesnt get in the way when curling with the swiveling end. I love how it curled my hair. My hair is fine so i had used a lower setting and my curls were very nice. Give you those nice bigger curls almost beachy waves. I overall enjoyed using this curling iron. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

I did not like this curling iron. I have long hair that is past my bellybutton and my hair will usually hold curls very well. But every time I have tried this curling iron they fall out almost instantly no matter how much hair spray I put in my hair. And my hair isn’t thin or thick it’s more in the middle. I’ve tried it on my sisters hair which is thick and a little past her shoulders and they still don’t hold. It’s very disappointing I wanted to like it so bad.

I was given this hair care item to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I enjoy curling my hair, but I’m not always the best at it. I like bigger curls due to my hair being long (about midway down my back when straight), and this curling iron achieved that look. The curling iron heated up quickly and stayed hot throughout the process. I really like the gold color, I feel like it gives it more of a high end feel, while still being affordable in pricing.

As a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was sent the Hot Tools Pro Signature 1 ¼" Gold Curling Iron. This curling iron fits the needs of my fine hair, as well as my daughter's thick hair. It warms up very quickly, has adjustable heat settings, and stays hot through the duration of our usage. The material feels nice in our hands; sleek and smooth to the touch. The styles we attempted included beach waves, tighter curls, and "crazy curls" for theme day at Girl Scout camp. My kiddo was amazed at what this product did for her naturally wavy hair, and wants to incorporate the usage into her hair routine more often.

Hot Tools Pro Signature 1 ¼" Gold Curling Iron looks beautiful in my bathroom. However, I found that this curling iron takes a long time to warm up. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it and I found I needed to curl in very small sections to get the curl to be anything more than a slight indent. Love the look of this item, but the performance is not there for me. Thanks to the Staller Product Testing Panel for providing this item for review.

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product testing panel. I thought that the curling iron was well made and great quality. It did not take a long time to heat up, and I felt that it stayed warm while using. The material was good, while the size worked well. I used it in both my hair and my 7 year old daughters and it worked great! I’ve used a wavy style, as well as large curls and a crimp! Great product.

This curling iron was a much better quality tool than the one I was using previously! I loved that it was easy to manage and twirl, and that it stayed warm throughout my hair process. The different settings were a nice feature. I also appreciated the look of this curling iron- since I leave it out on my bathroom counter, it’s important to me that it looks good, even if that might seem vain or silly to others! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this hair care item.

I received this curling iron as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. To start, the instructions are very helpful especially as it tells you what temperature to set it to based on the hair you have for best results. It heats up within 60 seconds. The curling iron design is nice as it is easy to adjust the temperature quickly, the cord doesn’t get in the way (has a swivel end), and the cool touch tip is great for not burning your fingers. It does great at clamping your hair and not allowing slippage in order to achieve the desired curl.

I received the Hot Tools Pro gold curling iron to try from the Stellar Testing Panel. Out of the box it is attractive with its gold barrel and weighty feel. I thought I’d like the handle to be thicker too, but it feels comfortable in my hand while I use it. The curling iron has a on/off switch and a temperature dial. It warmed quickly. It slid easily through my hair and produced some nice loose curls. I will have to practice more but so far I’m liking this tool a lot.

The handle is soft and smooth and easy to hold while styling. The dial adjusts temperature to fit your personal needs. Great curls every time! This Curling iron has a professional look straight out of the salon. I can plug this in and be ready to curl in about a minute and continue consistent heat throughout my styling process. The barrel size is great for soft natural curls and works well with my thick hair. My favorite part of this Curling iron is the smooth handle and adjustable temperature control.

The size of the barrel is perfect for making large voluminous waves like you just got a blowout. I’m used to using wands without a handle and was able to use it the same and just wrap my hair around. For some reason the curl in the front half around my face seems to be holding better than the back. That’s my only worry with this curling iron is that it won’t hold them long. Otherwise it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Great for defining wavy and curly hair and touching up curl pattern. Easy to use, heats up quickly. 1.25" size is perfect for filling in wavy curl patterns loosely without looking too overdone. This is a great curling iron and it really gets in there and does the job (plus it looks great too)! I think the curler is very high quality and gets warmed up pretty fast. It stays very hot throughout the curling process! I was able to use this item thanks to the Stellar panel. I have used it for about 3 weeks now, and I love the curls I get and love the barrel size. I also feel like it does a good job of not getting hairs stuck, or damaging my hair compared to my other models. This is def the curling iron to try!

This is a really nice iron, especially for the price point! I usually use a wand without a clip, so there was a bit of a learning curve for me but it was easy to use. It heats up quickly and I like that there are multiple temperature options. I have thick hair, so I usually put heat tools on max for hold. I like using irons about this size, since my preference is for more beachy waves than tight curls. Thank you to Stellar Reviews for the opportunity to try out this product!
