Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Sharks vs. Dinos Dragon Destruction Playset and 2 Toy Trucks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set is easy to set up, sturdy, and has just the right mix of chaos and fun. The dragon destruction feature is a big highlight, and the included two toy trucks are the perfect size for launching right into action. My kids love creating their own little "battles" and cheering when the trucks crash or take down the dragon. I also appreciate that the toy is durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun monster truck track. It is easy enough for a 7 year old to put together and place the stickers. Although it looks like some spots were cut out for stickers but don’t have them. Either way, my sons loves racing trucks! Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child could not wait to get this out of the box! The details and graphics on the box were very eye-catching. The box was easy to open, but setup took a little while. The pieces are labeled and 4-year old was able to help set this up. And then he wouldn’t stop playing for a few hours! He really loves this toy. The trucks launch up the ramp and then battle mid jump to see which will make it through the dragon’s mouth and down the ramp. As the trucks go through the dragon’s mouth, that part of the track separates so the trucks can go down and around the ramp to the finish! You have to put the pieces back “together” after was turn. While it is easy to do, my child had a little difficulty at times snapping the track back together (the dragon’s mouth to the orange ramp). The support pieces that hold the ramp up come out easily, but a little too easily sometimes. This was a ton of fun though and my child thought the 2 included trucks were so cool! We would definitely consider buying this as a gift for any monster truck loving friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the monster truck tracks, it allows the monster trucks to go super fast while racing. It was simple and quick to set this up and get to playing fast. It kept my childrens interest by changing up the opponents.

He especially loved the crashing of the track when going into the dragons mouth. The launch was a little difficult for him to get the trucks up high enough on the track to hit the dragons and he had a hard time resetting the track when it would come apart. Lining it back up to click together was a struggle and he kept getting frustrated. The 2 monster trucks that came with it the shark and dinosaur were fantastic. We love having plastic monster trucks in case he forgets them outside after playtime. Overall it has a couple of kinks but I believe the good outweighed the bad.

They really liked having to reset the dragon every time and also they also really enjoyed the similuated mayhem of the trucks running into the dragons mouth

Setup was fairly easy and directions were pretty clear to follow. My complaints are that this doesn't seem to fold down for storage like other tracks and it falls apart pretty easily which can get frustrating.

My kids did find it difficult to launch the cars with their hands, but quickly realized that they could use their feet instead. They really enjoyed the colors and theme of the track.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sharks vs Dinos playset is an attention grabber. Lots of smashing, flying cars fun. My child loved to see the chainsaw in action, not knowing which car it would get! His favorite is the Great Bite truck because it looks “super fierce” with its shark design. Easy to set up, the dragon holds up well even when he gets rough with it. He’s been playing with it nonstop, launching trucks to “defeat” the dragon and grab the trophy. It’s a blast for him, and I’d recommend it for any kid who loves monster trucks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun car track with two dinosaur and shark shaped 4-wheelers to race. Both of my boys, age 4 and 8, play with it for hours. It is easy for them to use, the start button is large so the 4 year old can push it easily, and off the cars go to race! The cars race through the dragon mouth, and there are points on the track that activate the track to change. Once the cars go through the mouth, the head falls back and the track moves up, and then further down there is another track change that the cars need to be fast enough to cross before the track falls again. When it works, it is a fun toy. But it only works the way it is supposed to I would say, 50% of the time. Most of the time the cars do not have enough speed to activate the track changing, so they get stuck in the dragon's mouth. The kids still love it, but it does get frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really enjoyed playing with this . It has two monster trucks that race through the dragon’s mouth. My son especially enjoyed watching the dragon fall apart . I will say there is a learning curve depending on how old your child is . You have to slam it extremely hard, harder than you think, to get the trucks through the dragon mouth. It also took my son a little bit to get used to putting the dragon back together after every slam. That being said, once he figured it out he had a blast and enjoyed the fact that he had two monster trucks to race. It was a little challenging to put together , but thankfully the instructions were extremely helpful and the pictures were exactly what I needed to figure it out . Just keep in mind the toy is designed to fall apart so it was tricky to keep it together while assembling it . Overall though , an extremely fun toy !

My son chose the shark monster truck every time, my daughter chose the dinosaur. Not sure why but the dinosaur won more than the shark. It held their interest for quite awhile and we have played with it several times.

Most of the time only one truck makes it through since the snake defeats the other truck but a few times both trucks got further down! Sometimes one gets stuck on the mouth while the other completes the track. Then the track transforms! We have a lot of fun with this track.

The details of the Dino and Shark trucks were a nice twist to the typical race cars. It was easy to put together and my kid was able to play with it on both the floor and on the table. This was a refreshing race toy compared to the original racing playsets. We loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My six-year-old absolutely loved this Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Dragon Demolition set! From the moment he opened the box, he was completely hooked. He played with it for hours straight and kept saying it was the coolest toy ever! The dragon design is super exciting, and the action-packed features—like launching the monster trucks and battling the dragon—kept him fully entertained. The pieces snapped together easily (with a little help from mom and dad), and it was ready to go quickly. He especially loved the “Great Bite” truck that came with it! If your kid loves cars, action, and imaginative play, this is a total winner. Highly recommend for any little Hot Wheels or monster truck fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the dragon itself was pretty cool and the colors of the track were very bright which made it very appealing for my son. The set was pretty easy to put together. The design and idea were pretty cool, but the monster trucks that were included were a disappointment as they were plastic and didn’t have a metal body. Once together, my son was really excited to try it out. He had a lot of difficulty trying to hit the launcher hard enough to get the monster trucks to go up the incline and into the dragon’s mouth. After helping him a couple times, we found that the plastic trucks that came with the set did not work well and did not go around the track. We tried using other monster trucks with a metal body and they seemed to do a little better at being able to finish driving around the track if they didn’t get stuck right inside the dragon’s mouth. The difficulty with playsets like this one is that they are bulky and they are incredibly difficult to take apart for storage. I wish there was a way that sets like this could be created so that they could be put together securely but also have a way to easy release the connections.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This race track has great theming and a really fun concept. Obviously, it works with other Hot Wheels tracks. It comes with two cars that you can load and then race. It is very fast, but sometimes a little finicky as the different parts of the track sometimes fall away. It was a little tricky to put together, but ultimately was easy enough to get together. Overall, fun, but I wish it was a little more sturdy.
