He had fun for a little while once it was complete, but it didn't hold his interest for very long. We couldn't find many of his other Hot Wheels cars that would work on the track. Once the cars went around the track once, they kept on following each other and didn't crash. It would have been better for there to be more track, or more points for impact. We have an old track, the Octoblast, and were hoping this one was more like that.

Our biggest issue was little brother wanting to play and pulling peices apart or running off with them. Defiantly suggest not pulling out when the little ones are around, but the big ones loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old and 36 year old love this Hot Wheels Spin Storm Track Set! The both said it was easy to put together and it keeps them entertained for more than 30 minutes at a clip. They started playing with the car that came with the set, but later realized and tested it out with all his hundreds of other hot wheels cars. It isn't extremely loud either. I would definitely recommend this for others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The track is made with flimsy plastic. It tends to come apart fairly often.. other then that my son loved it.. we just added a little tape to help it stay together.. he played with it for hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product arrived at my door as promised. I worried that it would be difficult to put together, but it actually wasn't too bad. (Please note - I am NOT mechanically inclined...I normally struggle with putting together Legos, race tracks, and other toys.) The track looks super cool and fun. You will need a small stash of batteries as it is battery operated. You simply put cars onto the track and they go around in a circle, even flying through the loop. The idea is that as you add more cars they will eventually knock into each other. I did find that some cars are too light for the track and will fly right off, creating a bit of a dangerous situation for younger children. I have 3 boys (1 year, 7 years, and 9 years) and would recommend that you keep this toy away from your very small children. My older boys enjoyed this toy in their room, away from my youngest son. They have played with it for several weeks now and were quite delighted to see the cars flying around the track and crashing into each other at first. However, because it doesn't allow for free/imaginative play, this track does eventually get a little boring, so I would suggest using it as a "put away" toy. We have certain toys that I keep put up in a closet and my boys must ask for to be able to use. For safety reasons and because they got bored with this quickly, I added this to my "put away" stash. This is working well for my family. They ask to use it a few times a week and because it is put away I can make sure that they do not use it around the baby and keeping it put away has also helped to keep it "fresh and new" so that it is still exciting for them. Overall, it's a great quality product just like many of the Hot Wheels tracks that we already own. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Give yourself a little time to put together 20-30 min especially if doing this with your child which makes it fun. Batteries not included. (you can play with it some without batteries). I have two boys 6 & 2 and they both LOVE this and play together and by themselves with it. We have had it about 2 1/2 weeks and they ask to play with it every day. If you have other Hot Wheels tracks you can add to the fun by using the "secret trap door" which you flip and send cars to the other track. Older son says the best thing about this is when the cars crash into each other. For a treat both boys got new Hot Wheel cars that were labeled for the track and they worked really good. (Some cars work better then others or if they are old but that makes it fun to see how they do on the track.) I would totally recommend this especially for a open play type of toy that is great indoor play especially for super hot days or rainy days.

The assembly was quite easy, and my son enjoyed helping. It took about 15 minutes to assmble. Super easy to remove from box, which I loved. The track is pretty cool for the first few minutes, but it's repetitive and you don't really get to do much with it besides watch the cars going around and around. Overall it fun to watch, even my 8 month old daughter enjoyed watching, but loses it's fun after awhile.

It took a little bit to put together but no complaints because of how long it has kept them occupied playing with it! They absolutely LOVE when the cars crash, they watch in anticipation waiting for the explosion! Boom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a HW Spin Storm Trackset free of charge in exchange for my honest opinions in this review. The HWSST was assembled quickly and with little effort. My 8yo son helped with the decals & battery installment. The boys were excited to "race" & "crash" their cars. We were a little surprised that only one HW car was included with the track, given the box states "multi-car action" and "1 or 2 players". We are Hot Wheels fans, so we tried the system with several of the cars we have already. Some vehicles were more or less compatible depending on the style of the car. After we selected a few cars that worked well, my two boys (8 &5) enjoyed racing the cars. They enjoyed it even more when the cars crashed! We didn't have another track connected to the system, but my boys set up a game where they just opened the chute that would normally connect & fired the cars out the exit area. They took turns seeing which cars could go the farthest. From a parent's perspective, this toy provided lots of fun for my kids. The only negative thing that I have to say about the toy is that the noise level is a little loud, but we have hardwood flooring and it tends to echo sounds like this. My husband said that the noise level is average and expected for any motorized toy of this sort. All in all, I would recommend this toy to a friend, especially a friend with boys that like to have fun! :)

The age on the box is for 5 and up, but I saw more interest in kids younger. The track set was semi moderate to put together, it took less than 2 hours to put together. The toy is durable to play with and does not have small parts to worry about with little kids. The quality of the product is strong and made to last a long time.

First they started with the one car that came with the set and by the end of the night they were trying to see how many cars they could race and crash. I love that it was compatible with other hot wheels cars. The motor is not too loud and worked perfectly. The boys loved helping with the construction of the track and it's very easy for them to take apart and put back together. All of the pieces fit great and I like that the track can be added to other Hot Wheels play sets. Overall, two thumbs up!!!

It was easy to put together, the instructions are very specific, and the cars fly around the track and actually stay on the track. All three of my kids (daughter (9) and sons (8 and 2)) have spent a lot of time together launching the cars from the two separate launch pads seeing if they will crash into each other. The cars will all go around themselves and my two year old loves to sit and watch them fly through the loops and curves while my 8 and 9 year olds are more interactive with the toy and launch the cars to see if they can get them to crash. I would definitely recommend this toy for kids who love racing cars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is a fun set for kids of all ages. The set up takes about 10 minutes and do not forget to buy batteries (4 D). Once you have it set up you are in for some high flying fun. Most cars work on the set but its best to use the racecar type for best results. Sometimes the cars will come off the track which is to be expected when they are traveling at the speeds and angles they are going. It is great for one kid or multiple kids since you are able to use more than one car at a time. I would recommend this to all hot wheels fans. It is a pretty big set so just leave yourself enough room to play and have a blast.

We sent many hours playing with the track and trying to see how many cars we could get going all at once. I like how the track has two players and can keep kids busy for hours. After a hard time assembling the track, it was very durable and did not come apart. I would say this track is a very good quality and worth the money. It will provide hours of fun.
