Hot Wheels Ultra Hots 1:64 Scale Vehicle - Styles May Vary

I bought these online since the selection at my 3 local Targets is usually abyssmal. Despite the fact 24 unique and different 'Ultra Hots' cars are available, there are typically only 3 or 4 different models for sale at actual Target stores. Not too surprisingly, these are nearly always the same handful of cars which are apparently either 1) the least popular 2) the least collectable 3) the least 'resellable' or 4) all of the above. Fully realizing that ordering the maximum quantity of 10 online was no guarantee of receiving a better selection out of 24 possible models, the odds certainly seemed better than the usual in-store selection. In any case, if anyone else was wondering about this, I am sorry to say that in my case, not only did I receive the same few models the retail stores have, but just got MORE of them!!! (Please see picture.) Maybe these are truly packed at random by automatic sorting machines at the Target warehouse, but I find it inexcusable to send 4 of the identical car! Of the remaining 6 cars, I received duplicates of 3 other models (totaling 6 added to the 4 duplicates) which made up the total order. The net result was that out of 24 possible unique cars, I received a mere 4 unique models in my order of 10 cars. Furthermore, the 4 models I did get are among the ones available at my local Target 3 miles away. I am therefore very disappointed in this order from Target.com. This review does NOT apply to Mattel or these particular Hot Wheels products. The 4 different cars received are great fun and look terrific! - I just did not want or need more than 1 of each car - and certainly not FOUR identical Dodge Chargers, despite being a favorite. In any case: BUYER BEWARE - 'Styles may Vary" in this case most likely means: 'Styles may vary within a small selection from among the leftover cars that didn't sell in our retail stores.' Perhaps I just had some bad luck but I hope this lengthy review is helpful to others who may be considering a similar purchase. The extras will be donated to charity. Thanks for reading.

These care are packaged like the regular hotwheel cars but they are twice the price - uggh. It felt like a ploy for me to accidently buy the more expensive car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ultra retro hot wheels are like standard hot wheels but way more detailed to match the card they come with. The paint and small details like the front and back license plates are colored and lettered. Definitely a great addition to my sons collection.

Although it’s not technically a premium grade Hot Wheels for the adult collector, the level of detail and quality on this product is pretty high. The Honda Civic Si has full tampos wrapped around the casting, including headlight, tail light, and emblem details. The styling of the car and card art is period correct to the Ultra Hots line, which is a nice touch. I wish this line came in a premium variety with Metal/Metal construction and Real Rider wheels.

I wish they could’ve added rubber tires to the ultra hot series and a little higher end paint. I received the barracuda however and that was the best car in the series. Bringing back the ultra hot wheels was a great decision as a throwback to an older series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 2022 versions of Hot Wheels Ultra Hots are perfect. The graphics are spot on with the vintage modes being brought back to life. The classic wheels finalize the look. My son loves this cars look. He took it outside to play on his made up race track. The quality by Hot Wheels remains. It looks and rolls perfectly after many outdoor play sessions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is very attention getting. The finish on the car especially with the spectra flame paint is really eye-catching. The car is a little light due to the plastic chassis, and there are some rough spots in the casting that are accentuated by the finish. Overall I would say it is nicely done and would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hot Wheels Ultra Hots retro car is one cool little car. From what I checked online it does seem pretty accurate from the actual car. It's nice and sturdy. The paint doesn't chip with hard play. It fits perfectly on my son's Hot Wheels tracks. Overall it's a great addition to his other Hot Wheels toys.

They’re in stock at the pensacola target and i got myself a full set 8/8 and i love them all.

These will no doubt become collectors items in the future which is why mine is staying on the card and going into a clamshell keeper! The Spectraflame paint on the 70 Camaro RS really pops in contrast to the spark/flame graphics too! Love it!

My boys love adding to their collection, but the Ultra Hots appeal to older generations as well. Our ‘87 Buick Regal is a blast from the past for the adults and and a historical educational piece for the kids. What I love about this product is the attention to detail that provides a realistic miniature replica for the true auto enthusiast. We love racing it against other models!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Buick Regal GNX comes in a cool burgundy color. The wheels could be a better style but do fit the time period look. Another great add to the Hot Wheels collection and definitely will need to try to get the rest of the set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a classic car collector I was really looking forward to the Hot Wheels Ultra Hot set from Mattel. The vehicle I received was car number 5 out of a set of 8. The car, a 1971 Plymouth GTX did not disappoint. I would rate this car a Premium. This rating is usually reserved for the Redline and Car Culture sets. While the Ultra Hot set does not come with the rubber tires, the quality of the Plymouth GTX was amazing. The paint is amazing with lot of metal flake. The detail in the headlights and taillights is leaps and bounds above the usual mainline cars. Overall very impressed and I look forward to collecting the remaining 7 cars in this set.
