A heartfelt, hands-on guide to setting boundaries, increasing productivity, and finding fulfillment for teachers who know that their classrooms won't thrive unless they do. Over time, teachers internalize myths about their success that cause them to fall out of love with teaching. - A foolproof productivity system just for teachers, including a life-saving method for batching lesson plans
- Scripts for establishing boundaries that will drastically reduce the time you spend lesson planning, responding to emails, and planning extracurriculars

I loved the practical strategies shared in this book. I loved learning ways to better manage my time. I learned how to use my time in the classroom so that I can enjoy my family time, too. I don’t have to be burned out to be a great teacher. The author’s writing style makes me feel like I’m talking to my teacher friend next door and the stories are so relatable! I believe every teacher can benefit from reading this book.

I'm a former teacher and I continue to work with teachers. They are struggling right now. Teacher are burnt out, overwhelmed, afraid. They feel frustrated and unappreciated. They need help and hope and practical strategies to make teaching easier and more fun! And Jamie Sears delivers all that and more in How to Love Teaching Again! This book is a must-read for every teacher. New teachers, veteran teachers, pre-service teachers. Teachers who currently love teaching, teachers grasping at straws and searching frantically for solutions, and teachers reluctantly ready to walk away from teaching. Jamie encourages teachers to rethink what success means and guides them to develop their own personal definitions of good teaching. But this isn't just a feel-good inspirational read. This book is packed with tons of practical tips and strategies to deal with common classroom conundrums. Even if you've been teaching for twenty years you'll find something new in here that will change your teaching and you life. And the best part is How to Love Teaching Again is an absolute joy to read. It's fun, quick, and filled with hilarious stories that will have you laughing out loud and nodding your head in recognition. How to Love Teaching Again is a must-read for every teacher. If you're a teacher, do yourself a favor and buy this book. And if you know and love a teacher, or two, gifting them this book will show your support and understanding.

Teachers And Admin Should Read This Book I read this book quickly, it's a humorous and introspective look at teaching and that's wrapped up in an easy to read package. After reading the other reviews I was hesitant, but I don't think that there's any issue with the fact that the author, Jamie, spent a shorter time in the classroom. She didn't try to hide what her teaching experience was like and she acknowledges in the book that the greatest way to write this was by also sharing the stories, experiences, and tips of the thousands of teachers that she has in her groups. I think it's harsh of the reviews that discredit somebody because they don't feel like they have the same experience, a teacher is a teacher, and we all have something to learn from each other. I'm a veteran teacher of 10 years and there were quite a few moments in the book that gave me pause, challenging me to think about what it is that I want and what that means for my career. That in and of itself is remarkable, by having to be introspective, it gave me the ability to really look at the state of teaching and what it is that I am willing to do to regain that spark. It made me curious to know what options there are to help me and my students in the immediate effect, while we continue to work on systemic change. I think that this book has a way of opening up conversations and organizing the thoughts that many of us share in a way that will make a big impact. I think it would be perfect for a book club.

In order to “fall in love again” with something, one must leave and return. This author left teaching 6+ years ago with no intent to return. She admits in the first chapter that she never wanted to be a teacher and she used to “hate kids.” That’s not someone who current, hard-working teachers should be getting their teaching advice. This woman profits off of education in the most slimy ways.

Long Time Teacher - 2 years ago
The author, Ms. Sears, is certainly not up to date on the current climate of today's classroom due to the fact that she tells her readers she LEFT the teaching profession MANY years ago to become an entrepreneur. Her book is out of touch with the realities of what teachers in the education system truly need.

Tired Teacher - 2 years ago
This book was written by someone with very little teaching experience who left teaching YEARS ago and knows nothing about what teachers are dealing with. Her book was written to promote her business and that's it. Very little in here for real teachers. Don't waste your money!
Really loved this book!
