Hugo No. 6 by Hugo Boss, 1.6 oz EDT Spray for Men (Bottled)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sent samples of BOSS Bottled off with my husband to keep in his office and give the fragrance a proper test. Here's the thing about my husband's office - its a 42 ton truck. Needless to say, between climbing in and out of the truck as well as strapping and unstrapping loads in any and all weather, BOSS Bottled got a workout every day! What we liked: - fragrance lasted all day, despite rain and sweat - Not overpowering, despite its staying power - Masculine scent (no flower gardens here!) - Smells traditionally BOSS - sophisticated, cool, put together. - Made my husband feel confident to start a new day, even if he'd slept in the truck that night! The only thing we weren't a fan of was the citrus-y note when you first open the bottle or put it on. The citrus isn't my husband's thing, however it quickly gives way to a deeper, richer scent that is much more fitting. We liked the scene so much overall we're both willing to overlook that initial rush of citrus. All in all, my husband and I really liked the scent...so much so it landed on his Christmas list, and I'll be making sure it lands under the tree!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has never tried Boss Bottled before, so we didn’t know what to expect from it. The packaging and advertising made us think that it would be quite a classy, sophisticated fragrance, but also one that is aimed at the alpha male, so probably strong and musky. This is the kind of fragrance that my husband hates, so he wasn’t keen on trying it. However, he was pleasantly surprised to find that it was certainly not a musky fragrance. The initial scent was sharp and we weren’t sure if we liked it, but when it settled into the skin it was much more pleasant. We both agreed that it has a warm, spicy vanilla scent that is masculine but subtle. It smells modern and complex, not like a lot of men’s fragrances that have a generic, overpowering smell. I liked it better than my husband, but that is mainly due to my preference for spicy scents while he favours citrus ones. My husband commented that it reminds him of Hugo by Hugo Boss, which he wore a long time ago and the smell brought back good memories. It’s a fragrance that he would definitely consider purchasing in the future, and one that I would be happy for him to wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] after providing the boss bottled to my partner, he and I were not that impressed. The scent was so subtle I could hardly tell if he was wearing it. Due to my lack of response my partner stopped wearing it. If you have someone in your family with a very sensitive noise perhaps this is the fragm for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great clean fresh scent, not too heavy and great to wear whether by day or night. It may be a classic that has been out for a while, but this doesn't make it boring and actually is great to be revamped. I'm pretty sure my husband had this years ago and hadn't bought it / had it bought more recently as other scents had come to the forefront, but actually he likes it so much that it's on his Christmas list :-) PS any campaign with Gerard Butler gets a yes from me too!

The fragrance is light and not over powering. It is simple to use and a good introductory present for young men into the world of fragrance/au do toilette, rather than aftershave or body spray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave my husband a sample to try and also took some into work. It was incredibly well received, and the office smelt gorgeous as several of the men tried the fragrance. Two of the men already had or had previously owned this fragrance, but still wanted to try the sample! Another said he would put it down on his Christmas list and described it as 'sophisticated'. Another said he liked how the smells mixed together. My husband and I thought the scent was citrussy, but still very masculine one and he would definitely consider wearing it again, so I may look at adding it to his Christmas list too. He also said that the smell lasted all day, which a number of other fragrances he has tried haven't done. He did feel, however, that he would be more likely to use the fragrance on a night out, rather than to work. and I would agree with him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when i received invitation for this campaign straight away i knew im in as my husband uses hugo boss parfume. I received small bottled testers which where great to pop in your pocket to have with you any place you go. I have always been more of giorgio armani girl but once i smelled this one i changed my mind and i so wish t would be for me not for my husband :) smell is gorgeous and i got addicted to it, every time my husband used it i just wanted to be around him. Smell is simply divine, it is hard to describe it as its parfume but i simply love it and so does my husband

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love this Hugo Boss on my hubby!! Great long lasting scent which is still just as addictive on him at the end of the day. Even still smells great after a long night shift & it's the 1st thing I smell when I wake up!! My husband definitely loves this one too & it's become the go to scent on his shelf of aftershave. Will definitely be getting him this for Xmas!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bravo Hugo Boss, As always the presentation of Hugo Boss products looks great. The bottle images in the sample card most definitely suits the hardworking man work who cares about his image & deserves a great aftershave. Only downside, would have preferred a small bottle rather than little tester tubes as hubby finds them to be bit fiddly but on the other hand there small enough to fit in his work locker!!

We both quite liked the fragrance and were impressed at how long it lasted. Feel it is more of a 'going out for the night' scent than an everyday one though and it has not managed to convince the other half to wear it every day.

There was nothing distinctive about this and I definitely couldn't tell it from any others in the Hugo boss range or other aftershaves for that matter. It was pleasant enough as a sample however I wouldn't buy this specifically. I normally like a spicer scent but feel the cinnamon and vanilla notes were lost in this fragrance. I feel the longevity of the fragrance was also lacking and that I wouldn't purchase this as a gift unless it was specifically requested. The brand was fairly unnotable to me before and remains so now. If my husband chose this fragrance for himself and wore it, I wouldn't mind but I wouldn't personally enjoy the scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Todays report is brought to you by my fingers but my husbands words - "I had used Boss Bottled when is was launched a few years ago and liked it a lot. However never got round to buying another bottle so was pleased to be offered some free samples to try it again. As soon as I sprayed it for the first time the familiar scents of Apple, Bergamot and vanilla hit my nose giving me the feeling of energy. As the scent warmed on my skin the scent of cinnamon gave me the feeling of warm hug and the lingering scent of sandalwood gives the scent a strong masculine edge. It reignited my love of this aftershave and I have added it my my list of gifts for Christmas. My chosen profession is a very physical and I feel that this scent defines my as a strong male role model to my wife, family and friends" . Thank you Husband :0) I love this scent on my Husband as it smells how I see him - strong and athletic. Shhhh don't tell him but I've brought him a bottle for Christmas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband wore the Boss fragrance for a few weeks instead of his usual fragrance. Although initially he liked the fragrance, he found that it wasn't as long lasting or intense as the one he currently uses. (John Paul Gaultier) He found the fragrance pleasant but did not make him feel more confident about himself than his current fragrance. Although he said if he received this as a gift he would be happy, although it would be something he would use for every day use (work etc) rather than for a night out or special occasion. He personally wouldn't buy it as a gift for anyone else as it didn't feel special enough.

As Boss is the brand I usually buy for my partner was looking forward to trying something new. I really like this fragrance and its warm, slightly sweet, masculine feel. I will definitely be buying a bottle for his Christams gift. My partner was an insant fan and thought could be both an everyday fragrance or for special occasions. I also gave a sample to my father, age 65, who doesn't normally wear "fashion" brands but he liked that it was classic and not too "tarty" but wouldn't be tempted to buy due to the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my men to smell like men, and my man usually wears Hugo by Hugo Boss or Higher Energy by Dior. When the parcel came through I liked all the samples, I can't comment on the packaging as they were mini vials, but I'm sure the full size product has a good shape and look to it. The smell is awesome, but takes a while to "warm up". It wasn't too musky which is usually the problem with male fragrance, and the vanilla undertones helped to lighten the scent whilst still remaining masculine. I would definitely buy this for my guy!

Absolutely loved the scent of this, very fresh but masculine and classic notes that suit most men. My husband actually bought some as a result of the campaign.

However when the bottles arrived I made him have a look at one and try it on. A success he was impressed. Hubby doesn't like overpowering scents which BOSS BOTTLED isn't, however it has a strong and unique scent. I do think its very 'manly' and sophisticated. A good all rounder perfect for the office and evenings out.
