Withe metal construction, ribbed glass shade and is dimmable, if you purchase such bulbs. You can choose the hanging height from roughly 17" to 60", making it quite versatile as far as where you could use it.

This light was very easy to install , yet is very stylish while putting out plenty of light for my needs. This is a well built quality light and I love it.
