    This is my second hydrotech expandable hose

    This is our second hydrotech hose. We had very good luck with our first expandable hose 5/8” …..so we decided to get a second for our backyard. Upgraded to the 3/4” pro series at 100ft to reach our gardens….

    Possibly defective by design

    Leaks out of the box. Not my first garden hose not my first expanding hose, but definitely the first one to be defective on arrival. Seems like the leak is less bad once there's been flow for a few minutes, so I guess the product has to expand to seal properly. Not a deal breaker, but worse than a quirk.

    Cheaper than Infomercial Hose

    Wanted the infomercial hose. Walmart was out of the "as seen on tv" hose and I saw this one for $30 cheaper than the advertised one. It seems to be good. the copper nozzle with the sliding on/off switch works very well. It expands like advertized. It has great pressure for just around the house (outside of course). It obviously isn't for normal hose watering but it does the job that I bought it for perfectly. One small problem, the wrapping around the hose got snagged when trying to cut open the packaging and now there is a pulled out piece of the cloth wrapping around the expandling part of the hose. I imagine it could get snagged easily in the yard on sticks, brush, leaves, rose thorns, etc. I see it being a problem but hopefully not.

    Love that Yellow Hose!

    So far, so good. I very much like the expansion and the weight of the hose when emptied of water. Traditional 100-foot hoses that do not kink weigh many times more.

    BEST FLEXHOSE YET

    I have gone through numerous flex hoses and they all fell victim to punctures from the ground. Even while doing my best to carry them around, the dragging on the ground caused the burst. The Hydrotech Pro Series has a more durable hose, and the 3/4 diameter allows me to continue working on projects or summer fun activities without having to worry about losing pressure. This is a must buy for all flex hose lovers!

    Recent Purchase

    Recent Purchase only connected the hose but found the max flow of water using the 3/4 diameter hose to be so much better than any other standard flex hose I've ever used. The connectors are also very impressive no leaks and appear to be very durable.

    Nozzle cracked in box nee

    When I opened the new box the nozzle was cracked. Looks like it was tightened or under too much pressure when made. Upon contacting the manufacturer I was told I need to register the hose before filing a claim. In the process. The hose currently works but I’m afraid it will split where the crack is.
