Seems like a good hose

I just got the thing, so I haven't had a lot of time to work with it, but it is nice to have a 200 foot long hose that reaches all my garden beds. It seems pretty sturdy; I'll give you better feedback after I've been using it for a few years!

5/8” HydroTech Expandable Burst Proof Hose

Water comes through it strong, but the hose does not expand to 50’ until the water is running. Makes it hard to put your sprinkler where you want it because you have to carry it while the water is running.

Hydrotech expandable burst proof hose

Just tried out the new hose and I love that it’s compact but expands to 100 feet so I can reach all my gardens. I also love that it’s very lightweight and easy to maneuver.

Possible product flaw

I noted when I first used the hose that there was a white plastic piece on the inside of the nozzle that looked like it had NOT been properly centered. The hose works OK but I'm wondering if this white piece is limiting the amount of water the hose is allowing to pass through the shutoff valve.
