Headphones are very comfortable with great sound quality and the color is very cute. Microphone is not great though. The input level/volume is low even when it's turned up to 100 in my system setttings, HyperX NGENUITY application, Discord, etc. No matter what I do I can't get the mic at 100% sound level except when I literally put the mic on my mouth. My laptop's built in mic is a little better than this one, which is a shame because I bought this headset specifically to get better mic quality.

the top headband is a soft quality foam and so are the earmuffs, very comfortable and won’t cause irritation/pain from prolonged wear (unlike others i’ve had) the mic is crystal clear and great quality especially for a detachable mic, overall would buy again <33

Hyperx user siince orgiinal cloud release

I used original hyper x clouds and loved em. Then when cloud II came had to get em and it was better original cloud.s and love em to. Then not long ago my Cloud II died on me since the frame got broken so was in need of new a headset did some research found there was could III version. So I brought em but had shelve em because my pc died never got chance to em until now once my new PC came. I now had chance use em for for 8 hour and I love em. Treble sounds good and bass just needs little more kick but other wise they sound and look good.so far.

comfy yet lousy

Too quiet. I had the HyperX II and it was way, way better in sound quality and volume capabilities. Now I have to constantly adjust the volume by a large amount when switching between output devices.

Great product, one of my best purchases yet the audio is great and the cord to plug in is nice and long but not too long that it’s annoying. It’s very comfy and doesn’t leave a headset dent like other headsets that I’ve used. 10/10 I would recommend for people that play r6 or warzone or games like that who want the best audio specs ever

terrible headset problems

i got the mic and it was rattling on the inside and then it started not working i have a problem where if my microphone works the audio doesn’t work, or if the audio works the microphone doesn’t. it still rattles.

Audio quality

Bass is absolutely terrible but has a great mic. Item returned because I wasn't happy with the Audio quality. Hopefully HP will improve on Audio. Would recommend looking for a different headset. Another Alternative is the Hyperx cloud Alpha

so cute & comfortable

originally got the astro a10 headset but it was too tight & mic broke first day so i exchanged them for this headset which was about a $30 difference but so worth it! this headset fits comfortably and the mic is very clear. audio seems a bit lower but you get used to it pretty fast. the pink touch is also super cute!

8/10 would recommend for the aesthetic and overall general use.

The headset is really pretty. Preferably i dont like the mute button behind my head, and i feel as if the volume scroll doesn't allow for loud enough audio. The noise canceling is also little to none compared to another headset i bought from hyperx. Its actually i think hyper x cloudx. I've been told mic audio is amazing none the less.

Microphone doesn’t work after testing, and replugging it. However, the Cloud 3 audio quality is better than Logitech 733 with DTS Enabled.

HyperX Cloud III, Not Quite on Cloud 9, but Close

I play mostly on the PC with this headset. So my review will be from that perspective. Pros: - It’s as comfortable, if not more comfortable than the Cloud II. - The sound quality is great, and according to friends the mic quality is better too. - I love the new onboard controls for volume and muting. The Cloud II’s controls were only accessible through the cable if you’re plugged into a PC leaving you needing some other way to mute or adjust volume on the consoles. Cons: - I thought the LED mute indicator was a great addition, but sometimes I still miss the fact that I am muted until I’ve already tried saying something. - One friend has complained that the new mute button makes an uncomfortable static noise when I mute and unmute. (on the Cloud II it was a switch on the controller you plug the headset into, it didn’t make any noise.) - My Cloud II came with a lot more accessories, and this microphone was missing a Wind Muff, Pop Filter (the little synthetic fur thing that goes on the end of mics to block wind and other slight background noises.) This meant my friends even heard my normal breathing and the fan sometimes. I was able to remove the cover from my Cloud II and it fit on the microphone for the Cloud III, but having one in the box, or on the mic would’ve been nice. Overall it’s a nice upgrade, especially if your Cloud II is starting to get worn out like mine was. But if you just got a Cloud II, you’re not missing out on something life-changing if you wait to purchase this one.
