  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3XW Headset - White To connect your SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless headset to a PS5: Set the USB-C wireless dongle to "PC" mode (not Xbox mode). The 3X model has a switch on the dongle. For PS5, use PC mode. Plug the dongle into your PS5: Directly into a USB-C port, or Into a USB-A port using the included adapter if needed. Turn on the headset by holding the power button until you hear the startup tone. The headset should automatically pair with the dongle. On the PS5, go to: Settings → Sound → Audio Output Select Arctis Nova 3X Wireless as the output device if it isn't selected automatically. Test game audio and microphone functionality. The detachable ClearCast microphone should work automatically once connected. If it's not connecting Make sure the dongle switch is set to PC, not Xbox. Charge the headset. Unplug and reconnect the dongle. Restart the PS5. Note: The PS5 does not support gaming audio over standard Bluetooth headsets, so use the included wireless dongle for the best experience.     Save your money!

    Horrible headset! Worked for one day and then stopped working. I updated them, disconnected and reconnected them, and still nothing. The dongle will not pair with them. Do not waste your money! There’s a reason they’re so cheap.

    Amazing

    I’m really happy with this headset. It’s lightweight and very comfortable, even after playing for a few hours. The fabric ear cushions feel soft and breathable, and I really like that they don’t feel like the type of material that will peel or crack over time. The sound quality is great for gaming, and connecting it to my Xbox was super easy the wireless connection worked automatically. It also connected easily to my phone and laptop, which is a big plus. The battery life is more than enough for a few hours of gaming, and overall I’m very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend it! 🎧🎮

    Greatest Quality for the price but a bit small in size.

    First time ever trying a SteelSeries headset. All in all, I like it. its comfortable, the battery lasts forever, it sounds good. Being able to switch back and forth between the USB dongle and Bluetooth is great. My last couple headsets had the flip up mic to mute feature which I miss on these but I'm getting used to pushing the mute button on the headset instead. My only complaint is that they're small. When I first took them out of the box I thought they were meant for kids. I have to extend the head rest length as far as it goes for them to be comfortable. Apparently that's how SteelSeries makes all their headsets. My head is an average size so if you have a bigger head these are not for you. But all in all, for the price, not bad at all. Im happy.

    Headphones for Xbox

    Have been using the headphones for a month now and lm very pleased with the performance and fit of the headphones. Using the tailored setting for the games I playing and this elevates the experience. Only downside is that sometimes when I start the Xbox the headphones don’t connect. When this happens the only way to get connected I have figured out is to disconnect the dongle and reconnect it, then the connection is restored. Will definitely recommend the product!

    Great value if you play with a mic

    Really solid headphones. The main thing that sets them apart - even from some more expensive models - is that they handle game audio and microphone use properly, which is hugely important if you play multiplayer games. A good example: a lot of regular premium music headphones over Bluetooth switch into a horrible low-quality mono mode the moment you use the mic, and the sound becomes genuinely awful - like worse-than-90s-phone-call awful. These don’t do that, which is an absolute killer feature and honestly one of the main reasons they’re worth it. On the downside, the connection range is noticeably weaker than I expected, and there’s no noise cancellation, which can make them feel oddly quiet at first even at full volume. But these aren’t really outdoor headphones anyway, and for the price they’re very good. Also, a random bonus I didn’t expect: the top headband strap actually sits really nicely on your hair. After a long gaming session it doesn’t just leave it flattened - it somehow smooths it down properly, which is weirdly nice and kind of hilarious.

    Boyfriend Loved it

    I bought this for my boyfriend as a bday gift, i did lots of research and decided on this one. It's on the more affordable side and i had read lots of good reviews. Anyway, my boyfriend loved it and said the sound quality was great and the headset was comfortable and it was wireless which he thought was great. Very happy on my purchase.

    I have got it now for a couple of weeks and it is amazing I love every feature. The ONLY thing I dislike is that the charging cable is very short. For the rest its amazing the sound and the isolation, also very comfertable.
