However, Xbox can simulate 3D audio via software to make them sound like 3D audio. Bought this bc I wanted a cheap headset I could take with me on the road and not worry about ruining my $300+ sets. That being said this is still overpriced for what it is. Volume fully up and you still can't hear anything. You have to use "superhuman hearing" mode and can still barely hear. The mic right out of the box doesn't work and when it's plugged in it consistently beeps which just gets annoying really fast.
My husband is obsessed!

He has never had a pair of cordless headphones so that was a bonus for him. He said the sound quality was great and they were kind of noise canceling even though he didn’t think they would be. The battery life is so good, he was using it for a week and finally decided to charge it even though he didn’t hear or see anything that signaled that they needed to be charged. He has officially stopped using his old pair of TurtleBeach headphones and is now using these. So he highly recommends them!

Both my son and I have used this headset and were extremely impressed. My son was able to walk to the back of our property (to test the range), which is roughly 3/4 of an acre back and he remained connected with quality audio! This was extremely impressive to us. Set up was a snap and we've encountered zero issues. Overall I give this product a 10/10 due to the quality build, comfortability, range and simplicity in getting it connected. Purchase this product for a great price and I promise you won't be disappointed!

Here is my husband on a FaceTime call and the audio quality was crisp! I love that it has a little Bluetooth adapter for connecting but you can also connect via Bluetooth. They’re also noise canceling because he could not hear anything in the background which is great! Right out the box it lasted for a whole day without a charge. I love it

I bought these headphones reading the reviews and thought that I was getting a great set of headphones. I brought them home to use and only one side of the headphones work. I tried everything to try and get the other side to work but haven’t had any luck. Had no idea it would be this complicated to get both sides of the headphones working. Beyond disappointed

Not overly bassy, not tinny or crackly. The voice is clear and in test game play and calls (over Discord) everyone thought my voice sounded clean and clear. The battery lasts for practically forever and charging them isn't a problem. Only the problem seems to be that the first pairing is really annoying, as the manual is a bit vague about switching between using the 2.4ghz transmitter and using bluetooth, and the app is rather slow to start up on mobile. That it forces you to update your headphones which takes a good few minutes.

I played religiously in my late teens and early 20’s life has gotten busy and now I finally began finding time to game. I knew I needed to get a new headset and automatically went back to tried and true Turtle Beach. My head set of yesteryear was comfortable but wore slightly blocky and had batteries that needed frequent replacement. This new Stealth 500 fits like a soft pillow even with my glasses. No discomfort even with longer sessions. The battery pack is rechargeable and does not have to be removed for charging which is a solid win in my book. Advertised battery life is something like 40 hours I don’t know about all that but I can say they haven’t died on me however I do charge between sessions. Connection was a breeze and having a 2.4 ghz WiFi connection I know I don’t have to worry about range while moving around my house. My old headset was strictly Bluetooth so I was limited. Sound quality is a game changer. Having been using a mic to communicate it’s nice having that full 360ish sound with the ability to make fine adjustments via the app. This might be an entry level headset but it is truly feature packed.

My sons and I were looking forward to using the wireless headset. On that being said let me tell you that these headsets are very comfortable. The sound quality is really good and it was very easy to connect with my console. The battery can last up 40 hours. The quick switch from Bluetooth to wireless mode is very easy to use while playing games. With that being said let me thank you Influenster for letting me try this new Turtle Beach Stealth 500 Wireless gaming headset. They are awesome I Recommend them.
