Review Quotes
"Fall in love with the whimsical world of paper crafting and explore the never-ending possibilities of handmade paper art!" - Sweet Paul Magazine
"Sundqvist, a Swedish artist who specializes in three-dimensional paper art, introduces a variety of techniques for working with paper in this stunning collection of projects. The book is divided into general themes, including silhouettes, geometric shapes, food, animals, and buildings, and each theme contains a selection of Sundqvist's work as well as templates and instructions for creating your own paper art. Some of the projects require origami-style folding; others use creative cutting or the use of colored or specialty papers to achieve the desired effect. Most of the instructions are strictly textual, so knowledge of paper craft basics is helpful. Some of Sundqvist's art is so elaborate that it isn't immediately apparent that it's made of paper, such as her colorful homages to business and leisure, which were designed for display in a hotel. VERDICT Duplicating Sundqvist's more elaborate creations requires a steady hand and a good deal of skill, but there are plenty of easier projects in this collection that could serve as a stepping-stone to more complex paper crafting." - Library Journal
"When Fidel Sundqvist's new book, I LOVE PAPER, landed on my doorstep I knew I was going to love it. I was right.
Given, the projects in this book are way above and beyond my typical paper adventures. However, I feel confident since there are very clear instructions and my favorite part - templates!
Paper shrimp cocktail, here I come!
I have to call out the gorgeous photography in this book. You could set this book out as a coffee table book for people to thumb through and look at the pictures." - Jennifer Perkins on BlogHer.com
