Personally, I would not recommend this book. I know kids at this reading level won’t get too deep - but there are better messages to give them. This noise takes advantage of the kid and has 0 manners. The boy has no self respect or boundaries with the moose, and the moose does not care. It shows little kids it’s okay to take advantage of one’s offerings and kindness. I guess, with all that said would a kid pick up on that? Probably not, but I still wouldn’t recommend it.
