There is minimal assembly required as all you really need to do is to push in the little rockets into the canon. The speed and distance of the canon shot is quite far and fast. This exceeded my expectations. You can change the aim of the canon by swivelling the figurine. This is also a great toy for imaginative play and a safe toy. My nephew really enjoyed playing with this and it kept him occupied for a while. He especially loved the feature of how the canon pops out and opens up ready to shoot. The functions are simple for a child and it's fun for them to figure out what the buttons and figure does. Excellent toy for the little ones and a great gift idea too! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately it was missing the Luke Skywalker character when it arrived but luckily he has another Imaginex character which fitted it. When you press the character on the power pad the cannon is revealed. It comes with 3 projectiles which are bright enough that they are easy to find! The projectiles shoot a fair distance and the toy is durable enough to stand my son's heavy handiness!

The STAR WARS Rebel Base Cannon toy comprises of a projectile launcher (blaster cannon), 3 projectiles, and a Luke Skywalker diecast metal character key. Simply press the character key on the power pad to reveal the hidden toy cannon. Press a button to launch the projectile from the cannon. Alter the direction of the projectile by turning the character key on the power pad. It's suitable for children aged 3 and above. My son loves it as he imagines that he is Luke Skywalker (his favourite) from the Rebel Alliance and is battling the dark force of the Galactic Empire. This would make a lovely birthday present. The pieces are sturdy, and it encourages imagination.
