I liked that for plant based, it mimicked real steak very well. I cooked it twice, burritos each time. First, simple with salt & pepper, the second time with some taco seasoning sprinkled on top & cooked in some water before stir frying to finish for a wonderful dinner & llunch. I loved the product & would buy it when I need a steak-like protein.

Great texture and taste. It was a little chewier than I prefer but nothing horrible. We had these in steak tacos and kids had no idea it wasn’t actually steak! Mom win! Good value and good packaging. Def will buy again

The texture is the closest I’ve had to real steak—tender with a slight chew, not mushy or overly soft like some plant-based options. I cooked them in a skillet with a little olive oil, garlic, and black pepper, and they browned up really nicely. The flavor held up well in a fajita bowl with peppers and onions, and they didn’t fall apart or dry out. Even my meat-eating friends tried them and asked what kind of steak it was. For quick weeknight meals or adding protein to salads, tacos, or rice bowls, these are an easy win.

The taste is just like actual steak, without the tough and chewiness you can get from real steak. They are quick and easy to cook, which made dinner a breeze. I love that they come in a resealable bag. This is ideal if you do a meal prep. I will definitely be purchasing again.

They look like real steak bites and no one can even guess that they are all vegan. Full of extreme juiciness and amazing in taste. They don’t seem to have any deficiencies in flavor, taste and texture. Great thing about the packing is that it comes in a ziplock packet which can stand up easily in your freezer. We tried it with some hot spicy ramen and that worked so well.

I personally like them a bit crispier so I cook them longer but if you follow the instructions they cook well and aren’t dry at all. I actually loved these and their texture but they definitely don’t feel feel/look like steak bites (which I prefer, so not a bad thing for me). I’ve already repurchased a few times and I’ll definitely continue buying.

I was raised vegetarian, so I don't have a point of reference for how real meat tastes. That said, I approached this review with an open mind and no preconceived notions. To get more honest feedback, I invited some of my meat-eating friends over for a taste test. I prepared two different dishes using these steak bites an Impossible steak salad and Impossible fajitas using recipes from the Impossible Foods website. I cooked the bites in a non-stick skillet rather than an air fryer or oven, and the process was quick and easy. Both dishes turned out delicious. I didn’t tell my friends that the steak bites were plant-based until after they had finished eating and they were shocked to learn it wasn’t real meat! They couldn’t believe how authentic the texture and flavor were. In fact, many of them have since started exploring other Impossible products. These bites come pre-cut, juicy, and packed with flavor. From stir-fries to salads to fajitas, sandwiches, and protein rich breakfasts, these versatile “beefalicious” bites go great with just about anything. Each serving contains 21g of protein and that’s just the beginning of the nutritional benefits. These steak bites have been approved by meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike. I would definitely recommend them or any Impossible product to anyone who is vegan, vegetarian, or looking to cut back on eating meat.
